Well, it's hard not to see that these kittens are abused. They live under a porch, have matted fur and are starving. I know that my sister's claims of animal abuse are true. Just looking at the cats I can see that. But I told her to take the LEGAL acctions, and she flipped out at me about how bitchy, cruel and heartless I am! Not the abusers. -__-

Clair, does the man even own them? Could be stray's at which point he isn't obligated to bother taking care of them. And the police is the wrong way to go. SPCA or another animal care program is who you need to call. They can come and take the animals to a local shelter and have them evaluated. They would be the one to press charges if abuse was indeed a factor.

Well, I don't want to take the chance. They live on his property, follow him around the neighborhood and he acts as if they're his cats. >.> So, I don't want to rescue them only to find out that I stole his cats and get arrested or go to court (as I'm old enough to be).

Yeah, I kind of agree with Damaru. I think there are other insitutions that deal with animals in this sort of case.
However your sister was mean, too. Dx If she compalins, she should know what to do to help them. Personally, I feed the strays in my yard. And give them water.

And come on, THEY would deal with it, not you, so you cant possibly be the one stealing them. XD They would talk with him first, too. And you are not forbidden to feed them, even if they are on other property.

Big enough for us... 2bed 1 & 1/2 bath nice big dining area and livingroom. It's a townhouse. Small yard (I love not mowing grass) And a 1 car garage. :)

I am not really still that Police would. If they have to, then those instituions have to, too. And they would directly go to the proper place.
We, here, have groups of people that can be called and they come and pick up animals like that.

SPCA is a U.S. country wide organization. You could also go online to find local animal shelters in your area. I never said for you to take them. I said you call an animal control company to come take them.

Yes, I know what you meant, but in our area, we have to go through the police. My sister just doesn't want to see them taken away PERIOD. -___- The police were called last year about similar kittens and they took them in for protection. My sister doesn't want the kittens to go, so she won't listen to reason.

I feel sorry for those cats. >: I rememebr how horrible it was when we had 5 strays in our yard... one of them got killed by a dog in horrible, horrible way... two got taken in, one just disappeared and one still lurks somewhere. I used to go down to feed them every night.
