I would like a couple tattoos myself.

@riyuu: Ya same with my family. I think my grandpa used to smoke but he quit a loooong time ago.

@Vix: O, dreads. How do you get them done, I have always wondered.

My first one's going to be a memorial for my grandmother.

My mum is cool about tatoos and peircings and that. So is my dad. I want a tatoo. I do quite fancy an eyebrow peircing too :P

Oh, my mother-in-law smokes when she is stressed out by her kids.

My mom has a Dolphin tattoo just above her ankle.

My uncle used to have dreads. When I was in spain I got the top half of my head braided. That was awesome :)

i can do without tatoos, i liek the idea, but not permanent or anything also they are a hindrance to getting a job

I plan on getting a double piercing sometime soon. I would like to do it the same time one of my friends do too.
When I asked my mom if I could get one when I was 16 she was against it because she said it would get infected and is unneeded.

@Min: There are a few ways, actually. You can let your hair dread naturally by letting it get knotted and matted but those never look very good. You can back comb the fuck out of your hair and hold the young dreads with dread wax until they mature about a year later. You can also have them professionally done.

For piercings, I want my nose, possibly my tongue, my eyebrow, and possibly my lip. I plan on getting my second holes done my ears when I have the money.

Whatever I do, I know my parents will be pissed.

My mum has eight, one on each arm, two on her chest, one on her ankle, one on her foot, one on her hand and one on her wrist.

My dad has about ten, but I have lost count :lol:

I got my ears done when I was five and my nose done when I was elleven :)

@D2: Tattoos aren't permanent and unless you're working naked, there are plenty of ways to hide a tat.

@Min: No idea yet. I do know that I want it on the back of my right shoulder though.

I will only get my ears pierced.

Not sure where and of what Tattoos I want, but I am pretty positive I want a Dragon. ^_^

I got the cartilage on my right ear done a few years ago. My parents were threatening to disown me :lol:

yeha, but i see the question " do you have a tatoo? if so where?" on enough applications to make me worried

@Vix: Ya I heard that you can naturally get dreads by just leaving your hair alone when it is long and not washing it (which sounds nasty in my opinion).

Well my mom was very supportive of my first piercing since she believes it is important to have your ears pierced so I got them done when I was 3. My sister had hers done when she was 6 months old. xD

That is what my uncle did to get his dreads. Oh it was disgusting! :gonk:

@D2: ...Where the hell do you live? I've never seen that on any kind of job application. And even if I did, I wouldn't be afraid. Tattoos are commonplace.

I had my ear pierced as a baby too. It's a Latino thing :lol:

@Dragoness: I can take a fair amount of pain. Growing up with boys, I learned not to complain and to be as tough as they were :lol:

@D2: Everyone looks at fresh meat differently. That has nothing to do with your appearance. You're new at the job and that means you're vulnerable and represent future competition.

New people in the jobs are always looked at differently, it's like being the new kid at school
