@ Min - I'm excited to dissect the pig, I'm not as excited to smell it. xD
|
Haha, it's kinda gross smelling, but you get used to it.
|
@ Tor - xD Still not something I"d wear as perfume, tho.
|
@Torrinne: O I see, good luck with that!! =D
Oh ya, that is what the preservative is called. @Dystopia: Ya that smell is nasty. |
Well, yeah. There is that. I don't see eau de zombie catching on any time soon.
Thanks, min! (I need all the luck I can get.) |
@Torrinne: Ya Med school is so tough. D:
Do you want to become a doctor no matter what as in you will keep on trying? I know it is easier to get into Med school if you have your masters, PhD, or have been working a few years. |
Probably. It's what I really want to do with my life. But if I get out of school and into the lab, I honestly don't know if I'll be able to go back and be successful.
|
MY MOMMA ISH HOMEEEEEEEE!!!!!
I am suuuuuu happeh |
Yeah, we dissected a lot of stuff in my zoology class
|
@Mina :: Yay!
@Suona :: Ah, dissections. Things that probably shouldn't bring up warm fuzzy feelings of happiness. But they were lots of fun. |
They're rather interesting. Good eay to learn.
|
True story.
|
Dissecting things in real life would be much better than using a computer program.
|
Geez, all these smart sciency people! :0 I hate science.
BA for the win! No labs at all! |
Aw. D: Silly non-science person.
But BA would be fun too. What major? |
Suona ish in three out of four threads that Mina has open and is talking in
allo Tilly! -huggles- |
Harharhar.... So, speaking of being unemployed forever..
Classics major, russian minor XDDD |
@Tilly: Well at least no complicated science talk is going on right now. ^^"
Arts is very interesting as well! At one point I was thinking of majoring in History. |
lol I talk in a lot of threads. ><;;
And yeah, I find it a learning experience to dissect animals. We dissected quite a few different ones, too. |
Better you than me, Tilly. o_o I don't think they even offer Russian at my school, let alone a major/minor in it. Would be cool to learn, though.
|
@Tilly: Cool, Classics. My friend took an introductory Classics course and only had good things to say about it.
|
I love it, which I didn't expect, and the whole department is amazing, it's the one department on campus that doesn't have a bad prof in it. Plus, I figured, history, politics, latin and stuff. Useful. Yeah, I went in delcared as a history major, but the courses offered were all pretty ridiculously complicated :/ It was a really heavy course load.
@Torr I took it in highschool, and went to russia last year with a program, it was awesome. I know Russia enough to know I do not ever want to live there, or stay there for a prolonged period of time, but it's such an awesome place to visit! It's not as hard as you think. :0 |
Hello, everyone! ^_^
Ahhhhh dissection! I only ever got to dissect a giant earth worm... I was out sick for the crayfish and the DAY we were to dissect our frogs, the honor's class, which had their class right before ours, STOLE our frogs and dissected them all. They actually shrugged if off as, oh well, we're more important anyway. T_T I had actually looked forward to that day in high school... =sniff sniff= Russian would be cool to learn. I have a friend who speaks really good Russian. I learned French and I suck at it... >_< I need to go brush up pretty bad, lol! |
I have only taken spanish, and I hate the language, so I only learned it long enough to pass the class. Had to take it for high school, and it was the only option that we had.
|
@Tilly: Oh, I thought that history and classics were similar in their course load.
Woah getting to a visit a new country is an amazing experience! @Tasia: OMG, that's unbelievably bad of them!! I hope you can dissect something cool in the future then. D: |
