at my high school we were The Braves. our local native americans were very proud of us and how we honored them.
Haha we were the Indians.......and we had a horrible song that went with a little dance.

Wow I really hated school. Everyone was obligated to be the same.

Bleed me either. I only went because there was a dance after one, and the other someone just asked me to go to hang out.

We had a terrible anthem but I can't recite it without giving away the name of my school.

Bleed: Haha I went to one Halloween dance, one home coming and I've been to three proms. XD; Juinor, senior, and then I went to my boyfriend's senior prom.

Cherry: No, I meant did you have to wear uniforms? You said you were all obligated to be the same. XD;

Do teens still have the notion about having sex on prom night? Or is that just old news.....

Cyndel: oh no. But all of the people at my school were rich, loud, and obnoxious. If you didn't fit that category, you were a loner.

Yeah, I wanted to go to prom. My ex was supposed to take me. He backed out right before it. I had the dress and spent a ton of money on tickets.

I didn't do the prom thing. our committee were a bunch of idiots and almost nobody went. they spent most of our prom money on our senior gift which was a freaking concrete bench that cost so much we didn't even get senior gifts ... usually the graduating students each get a gift ... the year before us all the girls got cedar hope chests and the boys got ... something else really cool I can't think of right now ... but we got nothing.

Kinny's high school was the indians, and ONE person complained, so the marching band wasn't allowed to do the school song, nor the tomahawk throw... they had to be called the shooting stars. >.<

@Crazymuch: Hm, I guess it isn't bad. I'm just careful about giving personal details over the internet. My team were the Dexter Dreadnoughts.

we were indians too. Wow it's ironic because I thought americans killed a lot of them when coming into this country......

We didn't get senior gifts. Honestly, I'm glad we didn't. I never liked my HS at all anyway.

yeah. we did NOT do the "tomohawk chop" .. it is just wrong ...

I don't know why, we just had a pretty close knit community for the most part and senior gifts were kinda par for the course ... but then, the year before the year before us they had a senior trip which was a cruise and I can't remember where they went right now ...
