I was without internet for a couple of months before due to financial/income reasons.
I might try to go without for the summer if things don't work out with finishing my art portfolio and applying for an art job. I just would rather spend more time outdoors then indoors job fighting. I can continue to work on my art outdoors when I'm not editing so that fits. |

Thanks. The job I last had was with census and they replaced me with someone else without even telling me. How "nice".
They sent the replacement to ask me census questions three times while ignoring my resqusts to get answers from them about why I lost my job with them. Then...instead of giving me answers, they sent a new census person. My census form is all filled out and sitting by the door, but I'm not giving it to these "backdstabbing" people who stole my job. |

most employers don't have to give a reason, they can let you go at any time for no reason at all be it you worked for them for a few weeks or a few decades.
A lot of states call this a right to hire and fire law and it "protects" the employer. The true reality is it's a way for employers to profile and discriminate with no fear of the law. |
I didn't even start working for them, I got accepted and then was waiting for the time to start working for them, which was supposed to be within ten days. Then went they never got back to me, I got more suspicious.

I'm glad passage on the airship is free, because I don't have two sticks to rub together, but it's way too gross on the surface. Of course, it would be better if I actually HAD an airship. |
An airship would be a novel way of getting to the shops but I don't know if it would fit in the car park. Guess I'll stick with walking for now.
