i'm gonna go get my mum
~runs off~ |
Poor Star. Poor spider. :[
|
*Snugs Star tightly* Squish the papers. Yup I would just squish the papers.
|
-curls up in the nest in Ema's head- >w<
|
Someone had to take care of the kittens paws. She certaintly wasn't going to do it right.
I'd rather hurt them a little bit every few hours to make them better... than have the poor dear loose their paws entirely. Though I don't agree with de-clawing for any reason myself. If you have allergies to something, perhaps you shouldn't have them. But this is coming from someone who has not a single allergy and doesn't really understand why those with them, would put themselves in such situations. |
De-clawing? D:
I am SO trimming my cats claws sometime soon... but I wont have them taken out |
It occurs to me that Omnom was the one who asked for room in the nest in Ema's head. And I was totally not paying attention. u_u
|
we have 4 cats all with claws so i have to be careful with them but the poor things are so old their teeth are rotting (we have them extracted and it isnt painful they are just loopy for a while) and they are getting little kitty arthritis it is really sad
|
I concur with your statement, [N]ightmare. I'm just saying people with those reactions have a legitimate reason. Though, sadly, most are still not fully aware of the brutality of the process.
Did the little kitties turn out alright, or are they a work in progress? Be careful up there, Hyena. It's squishy. And very full. I'm a lerned womans! |
I would never declaw a cat of mine even if it was a tiger cub. >_> I just don't think it's very nice.
@Star Valo ? Well so long as she'll kill it... |
-noms on Ema's braaaaaaain- >w<
|
Most people who declaw their cats don't understand the longterm effect... that cat for the rest of it's life, is never to go outside again because it's incapable of defending itself
|
Ackno!
I need that! FOR SCIENCE! That and they're missing a chunk of toe, Poet. And will as [N]ightmare has displayed likely get infections. And I have seen a declawed cat who could live outside. She could even catch birds still. She was very good with her back feet & the biting. |
well if i ever do feel the urge to get a cat ill get a purebred ragdoll as they are very docile but playful but i doubt i'll ever get one
|
w00t! I is back for some more gear-hating fun!
how is everyone? EDIT: hOMG! I think the Ragdoll's are just sooo adorable! And the Flops! :squee: I want a puppy so badly, though. I love dogs, but I haven't had one since I was about 10, and that last one for only a few weeks before my dad let it run away. |
I'm well Jade, how are you?
|
The kittens are alright now, two years old all of them.
But one is slightly lamed. Her infection spread into the blood and she got a disease from that which affected her brain. Now she has moments where she will fall asleep and not wake up or even move for hours... no matter what you do to her. It's scary, sicne we fear her breathing will stop sooner or later. I just think de-clawing any animal is selfish. |
aw that is so terrible ok i changed my mind i didnt think that could happen that is so sad
|
I love my cat, but she was delawed when I got her.
Hi everyone new that I haven't said hi too. |
Why are people so mean to poor kitties that way?! They need their claws...
|
@Sumerian: I'm happy to be done for the day, but tomorrow is going to be a looong day of work. Hopefully my last day before vacation, but we'll see.
Hi, Lix. What'd I miss now? ...something about cats... |
mum lost it
~sit frightened in the corner~ |
I know a cat that could do fine declawed... but I doubt she could continue to beat up the raccoons in the neighborhood (she's a beast o.o) so outdoors would be dangerous...
|
*snugs Star* Sorry. If you see it again squish it.
|
~trembles~
I don't wanna go to sleep now... I feel so pathetic... |
