Ugh, this is horrible... we have an event while i'm stuck in the middle of the ocean with horrible internet connection.

I will be starting my power hour in about 1 hour - I'll be a little preoccupied until then and do not want to waste it.
Though, perhaps it would be better for me to delay it until 9:00 am Pacific - I have an alarm that goes off then to remind me to take my daily medications anyway, and people are more active around that time and 9:00 pm Pacific. I am usually stuck in the middle of the ocean (now included), though probably not in the same way you are, Nightmare. |

I wouldn't mind being in the middle of the ocean, if I were on a cruise ship or other personal vessel. But i'm on a Navy ship... working. Bleh. I'd much rather be at home with family and friends.
I love the ocean, but i'd rather not spend stupid small amounts of time floating around hte middle of nowhere for little to no reason. I don't mind going on deployment for a few months, but dang it... these week long hiccups are annoying. Especially as it's never far enough out to use sattelite internet connection, nor long enough to warrant the costs. Le sigh. |

It could always be worse, I suppose.
At least the internet IS working right now... it wasn't working for most of the day. Which is odd, since that's when the techs are all awake and suppossedly keeping things running smoothly. LOL ... seems the equipment runs just ifne when they aren't touching it. XD |
