Welcome to the party place folks! Out here on the fabulous observation deck of the Sky Pioneer things are all set to get you in the mood for celebrating. Facing out towards the sea and giving you an unparalleled view of the harbour and nearby coastline this is a truly stunning setting.
The party area starts indoors in the saloon where there's a well-stocked bar and a large dancefloor surrounded by comfortable seating. Our orchestra have been inspired by the vintage setting and I feel we'll be in for some big band classics this time around! Moving outside onto the deck itself and you'll find a large covered area created by a wonderful arched sail strung with different colored lanterns, there are braziers for if it gets chilly, plenty of seating and room for dancing out here too. If the sun is out or you fancy a bit of star-gazing you can move out to the far end of the desk and recline on sumptuous padded loungers to either soak up some rays or practice your astronomy skills with the telescopes provided (or take a little nap ;) ) Enjoy this wonderful party area! |
Ah, the observation deck looks quite nice! I'll have to get changed to reflect this setting; I know I seem rather out of place right now...but for this moment, stargazing is calling me.

Indeed. And it is most fascinating, to contemplate just what is out there...I have been known to spend an entire night doing just that.
At times it makes me wish I had an internal clock. :sweat: It is actually possible, using only a good home telescope, a camera, and a journal, to spot distant solar systems by watching the brightness of a given star - quite fascinating, I must say. I always catch myself wondering what these distant planets are like on the surface... |
Eww soaking up rays ruins your skin. But I bet you do get a good view of the stars from here at night. To bad the suns just come up. -pout-

the sun here is just starting to come up so its still a bit dark here. give it about half an hour to a hour and it'll be pretty bright out. hello to everyone also.

It's quite cold today here. Very cloudy nothing like it was at weekend.

It was really hot yesterday. Its getting pretty light out here now. Which isn't helping my headache bleh.
