I am sure your guilts and sins are not as big as you see them now. And as for crying... Well, it is good every now and then. just let it out, as much as you can. It is harder when you cannot cry anymore, then it really tears you on inside. ... Mind if i hug you?

Lixlaria 06-03-2010 08:21 PM

*Pets Star's hair* If you don't want to hear negativity Jack is in the dining hall.

sadrain 06-03-2010 08:21 PM

I dont think we are really arguing here, just talking.

BleedXWell 06-03-2010 08:22 PM

I think I might go somewhere more...pleasant feeling.

Hyena 06-03-2010 08:22 PM

See, I just thought we were talking. Because I wasn't arguing. I'm confused. =O

sadrain 06-03-2010 08:22 PM

-shrug- There are always people who cant accept to watch when others are having hard time, but also dont want to do anything to help.

TaiyoTsuki 06-03-2010 08:23 PM

*hugs star* This is starting to make me feel emo, too.

Hyena 06-03-2010 08:23 PM

-throws glitter around the room- =D

~perks her ears~
He is?
I didn't know he was back

~hugs Taiyo~

sadrain 06-03-2010 08:24 PM

-scratches behind her ear- Hmm. So again I see that if someone just needs to talk or doesnt see point in pretending to be happy, they will be left alone...

Lixlaria 06-03-2010 08:25 PM

*Nods* Yup. Starting snuggle pile there. ^_^

Allucard 06-03-2010 08:25 PM

@ Hyena: I remember such things. Kinship systems, social constructions of gender and race.
Of course, now I think back on it and what I remember best is the !Kung, and the way their exposure to modern ideas tainted and destroyed their society.
But at least one of them got to be a movie star I suppose.

@ Sadrain: You should be happy if you can. I guess I'm just out of practice saying happy things.

TaiyoTsuki 06-03-2010 08:27 PM

*shakes head* I've got no problem with sparkles, I'm just trying to keep them out of my eyes...

sadrain 06-03-2010 08:27 PM

By the way, the link is not working in your signature, Allucard.

We discussed the Etoro homosexuality double-standard more than we did the !Kung. Our professor had a strong leaning towards gay rights. Quite possibly because of some recent events on our campus that burst her bubble. In fact, highly likely.

Allucard 06-03-2010 08:29 PM

It's broken, like me. And just as I never saw my own fall coming, I couldn't have anticipated this.
In any case, my dreams and quests are meaningless and hollow. *looks defeatedly at gold count*

I don't know, I think happiness is what you make of it. If I am in a bad mood, I listen to my favorite song or look at some beautiful artwork or something and do all that I can until I'm in a good mood. Sappy, perhaps, but it keeps me feeling good and improves the mood of those around me, which is never a bad thing. :)

Hyena 06-03-2010 08:30 PM

When I'm in a funk, I choreograph something. Maybe paint. Sometimes I do both at the same time.

Sometimes on the roof. o_o

*wonders drearily what crushingly depressing events you're speaking of, and, in passing curiosity, what institution you attend*

Twethereal 06-03-2010 08:32 PM

On the roof? That's as good a place as any I suppose. xD

I think my favorite thing to do when I'm sad is play on the piano. I like composing music and it really calms me down and makes me happy. And when I'm angry it helps me vent my frustration through the music.

TaiyoTsuki 06-03-2010 08:33 PM

Allucard, are you depressed or something?

sadrain 06-03-2010 08:33 PM

>: Its not like I speak only happy things, and I dont even remember when I spoke happy things just now.
I dont know what was your fall, and not sure if you would want to share, but sometimes small things are much more meaningful than big, so I dont think your wishes and dreams, even of virtual items, are meaningless. Even if they seem not to be easy to obtain. But you could always start with something easy.

We've had some rather outspoken religious establishments protest our active gay community at Ball State, and it kind of made a dent in our morale. >>
