''Phew~ That was one of the not so many times that I'm happy important business make me able to be all 'poof, I'm gone' like~'' The elven girl said, stretching herself as she came in, looking out fo the windows... ''It tends to always be beautifull here...'' she sighed, taking a seat, playing with her still moist hair. ''Luckily we do have shower and cleaning satinary at home!'' she laughed, twirling the lock in her fingers.

So, whats going in here? C:
*hopes to chat in about 12 threads for the power hour XD*

diamondt 05-30-2010 01:03 PM

XD I barely use power hour I noticed, I think it's a waste of the power hour, but then I realise I need to leave, and haven't used anything XD

Codette 05-30-2010 02:46 PM

ARG!!!! I can't post enough to get enough spanners, I keep getting gears or flowers from the shed, and missions barely give enough seeds for me to be able to have enough so I can afford the next EI! :'( Not to mention I have stuff to do today so I can't spend all day posting in a vain attempt to raise the number....*pouts* They really need to extend the event at least. I only got 2 team items (the wrench and hammer), and I only have .50 seeds, to try to up in 2 days.... *sigh*

diamondt 05-30-2010 03:48 PM

You know, when you work in the sprocket/Gasket HQ, you get 0.25 seed for each time helping, and if I'm right, you should have two jobs in which you can switch one each day. o.o

Mr. Mayor 05-30-2010 04:09 PM

*Wanders in and collapses on a couch* I need some caffeine *signals to a waiter* Bucketload of coffee my good man, extra strong, please!

GrannyJ 05-30-2010 04:12 PM

Hello, Mr. Mayor!
I have not seen you around very much.

Mr. Mayor 05-30-2010 04:18 PM

Hello Granny my dear! I'm not suprised that you haven't seen me, my father, with his usual impeccable sense of timing, decided that he needed help cutting down his old apple orchard this week...

I'll admit that the trees did need to come down, because a great deal had become infested with something nasty, but it would have been nice if he'd waited until the fun here was over before summoning me. *laughs*

GrannyJ 05-30-2010 04:22 PM

Oh my. That sounds like a very hard job.

I see you still have your shovel with you!

Mr. Mayor 05-30-2010 04:28 PM

The shovel *laughs* Well yes, that's more of a prop and a joke aimed at HIM, as she's so convinced that I bury people in the garden

I certainly feel ready for a great amount of sleep now though! There's me, slogging away out in the orchard with a saw, and there's Vicktoria, comfortably ensconced in the kitchen with my mother, baking pies and cakes for a tea party they were throwing on the village green *grumbles slightly*

Though I'll admit, I'm not sure I can picture Vicky weilding a saw trying to cut down sturdy old trees, I fear carnage might ensue!

GrannyJ 05-30-2010 04:30 PM

Oh yes, I have not seen Vicky around at all.
This is a strange event, because everybody seems to be "hiding".

Mr. Mayor 05-30-2010 04:36 PM

I think she'll be back tomorrow, after the ladies big party. I'll openly admit to escaping a day early, saying that I needed to get back here for the event.

I was being a little cowardly and not wanting to deal with endless probing questions from a whole platoon of old ladies wanting to know if they're going to get to knit baby clothes for me any time in the future and so on. *laughs*

GrannyJ 05-30-2010 04:49 PM

`laughs`
Well, we old ladies do want to be helpful!
Knitting is a wonderful pasttime.

We are also very nosy at times.

Codette 05-30-2010 04:54 PM

*sigh* *lays down on a couch* It's only 11 am, and it's already been a long day ^.^'

GrannyJ 05-30-2010 04:58 PM

Hello Annabelle!

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 04:59 PM

It is one in the afternoon here, Syra, and the day feels long to me, too. It's the price of staying up much too late last night. *Yawns, and slumps down onto a vacant futon.*

Mr. Mayor 05-30-2010 05:04 PM

At least I'm not the only one who's feeling weary today. I'm willing to share my vat of coffee if anyone's interested. *laughs*

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 05:05 PM

 Mr. Mayer, that coffee smells wonderful, but I may have to resort to my last energy shot to get me through the weekend.

Codette 05-30-2010 05:07 PM

Hey Granny! Mr. Mayor! Cicadette! ^.^ how is everyone?

Mr. Mayor 05-30-2010 05:07 PM

You might regret it later, Cica. Energy shots tend you sap the life out of you later, or so I've found. I'd suggest cake instead. *nods wisely*

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 05:09 PM

But Mr. Mayor, a sugar crash can come from cake as well! Though one has to love cake. Hmm, maybe I should track down some tea. I love the smell of coffee, but I'm not such a fan of the taste, to be honest.

I'm okay, Syra. Just discussing different caffeine intake methods at the moment!

Mr. Mayor 05-30-2010 05:11 PM

Cake can be a good healthy food though...hmm *thinks* something like banana bread that full of good stuff to give instant and sustained energy?

Could I tempt you with that, and a pot of tea?

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 05:12 PM

Banana bread could indeed be nutritious! It is still very sweet, though.

A pot of tea would be very tempting, yes!

Codette 05-30-2010 05:13 PM

*giggles* for times like that I like coffee smoothies ^.^

diamondt 05-30-2010 05:17 PM

Tea would be a little weak for me right now, are there strawberry smoothies? =3
