Though it only has 24 episodes + an OVA episode.
There are several things left out that is in the manga. Like the carnival saga.

Yeah, that's true. xD Plus a lot of anime these days don't fill everything in, they just stop after 25 episodes at most and just continue with the manga. Or they start with a second season of the series in anime form.

@sora: also true... i really hate when the anime ends but it isn't really an ending... like fruits basket! i love the whole manga, read it all through many times. i laughed, i cried, i got mad i felt a whole array of emotions! but the anime just kind of ended... :(

I've noticed almost half the new anime I've seen released are only 26 episodes long.....makes me sad. I like the ones that go on forever, actually. I just hate when something's over and then there is no more....

Fruits Basket = <33333333 I'm actually going to be cosplaying as Yuki this weekend for a local convention. My fiancee's going as Akito and one of my friends and her boyfriend are doing Kyo and Shigure. It's gonna be fun. ^_^

Sora - I haven't seen that one yet, but I've heard it's really good. I don't like to watch online, though, so I wait for the DVDs to become available for rent locally. That way I can play online and watch it on the TV at the same time. *lazy*

@sora: i always start out liking a series and then i find out it's like 45974358 episodes long and i kind of lose all my enthusiasm to finish it out

@yumeko: i might have to look into some places around the new england area! i have a friend who goes to one in NYC and boston and other such places she loves it!
