Good night, Hime! : )
|
Does not sound like a particularly fun trip. I hate public transport. Not that I've actually been forced to take it in years, but that's not the point. I do want to try the new light rail that they installed downtown last year though. I've never been on a train, or even something similar to one.

Goodnight, Arikana!
Hime- I can relate when i get who I call the "Hygienist from Hell". But thankfully I only get her when my dad and I are scheduled close together on the same day. xD My normal lady doesn't hurt as much and gets my teeth just as clean without nicking my gums and digging in. I have a high tolerance for pain but damn it that other one needs to stop stabbing me. xD My dad says pain is clean to him. xD Plus he does not like my lady because she talks too much. xD |
powerhourisgo!
|
Didn't use mine today. Been really spacey.
|
Lol, I only have 25 min of power hour left sadly xD
|
As much as you post and you didn't use your power hour? Are you broken? XD
|
xD Yeah, suona, i would have used it. since it is like, every 7 hours now. xD
|
Ugh, I had problems with my teeth ever since I was little :c
I once had this tooth denerved (or how ever you'd call that) and it failed (one chance on a thousand)- so now I have a higher risk of infections and such D: |
It's every 7 hours now? Cool beans!
Hime, ew, not fun! How often do you visit the dentist to check up on it? |
I have a dentist appointment every three months or so, because I have a graveyard in my mouth :c
|
Even worse! I only go about once a year. I should go more often, but I take decent care of my mouth so I don't really have a big need for checkups very often.
|
Oh Hime that sucks. D:
I have my dad's side of the family teeth, which is great in the aspect the enamel is hard and I have only had one small cavity in my 19 years, but the the curse of it is I was cursed with crooked teeth, which braces have now fixed. Plus missing teeth/misplaced teeth are common. I had a missing tooth. I did not lose my first tooth until I was 8 or 9 though. xD But my wisdom teeth started coming in at 13 o.o;; THAT HURTS LIKE HELL! xD But that is nothing compared to that D: I have never heard of that happening. I go every 6 months, and now to the orthodontist once a year. |
I have one crooked tooth that falls behind the rest of my teeth because there isn't enough space for it to fit properly there. I'm waiting until my mom gets her dental assistant job when she graduates to get it taken care of though. I was thinking of just having a new tooth made and placed where the gap is because braces would take too long to fix the problem, and because of how the tooth is placed, its the only one that gets cavities since I can't really floss it or brush it that well.
I never really felt any pain with my wisdom teeth. They just kind of popped in. |
Mine continued to come in for a while and because my mouth is so small it just made matters worse since it was already crowded enough. It was like I was teething all over again. x.x
|
I had to have one of mine removed because there was a lack of room in my mouth for it to fit properly. It was the upper left wisdom tooth. All of my other ones are forward enough that my toothbrush will reach them, but that one was way in the back and I couldn't get around it.
|
My entire mouth was too small. xD which is why I had to have 7 teeth removed when I got braced. And that is remembering I already had an altogether missing tooth. xD
Actually, lets add that count up to 3 missing permanent teeth. I had 2 baby teeth removed which had to be cut in half then pulled because of how the roots had grown since there were no permanent teeth to replace them. 1 permanent tooth pulled. and all four wisdom teeth cut out. x.x |
You know when you get a tooth pulled, they have to break the root to get it to come out? How crazy is that?
When I had mine pulled, my dentist missed with the anesthetic and had to do it again. I hate needles as it is, but he was all up in my mouth with a crap ton of stuff. I guess there's like a 1/1000 chance that a dentist will actually hit the right spot just right so that you'll never feel a thing. Otherwise they just get the general area. Its weird. |
Seiki, lol i think that is one of the things the doctor said when he was pulling and cutting my teeth actually. xD I was not really asleep for it but I felt high as a kite and whatever. xD did not feel a thing. the first tooth I ever had removed the anesthetic was a waste. He gave it to me but did not give it time to kick in. x.x Thankfully that was just a baby tooth that did not want to make way for the permanent one. And the anesthetic kicked in not long after. x.x
|
So basically you were stuck feeling the pain while he took it out, but then the anesthetic kicked in and you were just dandy? XD
|
lol I haven't been posting that much today. xP;;
Was working on avis a bunch of the time |
Lol, yeah.
But I rather not of felt the pain at all any day. x.x The other doctor for my braces was SOOO much more thorough. They drugged me up, left the room, and then i think they came back and drugged me with something else. xD My memory is cloudy after the first time they left the room though. xD |
Su, makes sense.
Winter, they're supposed to leave you alone while it takes effect before they come back to start working on you. I've never heard of a dentist doing two anesthetics at once though. Then again, I've never really bothered to look into dentist stories xD |
Looks pretty Suona!
I used to wear night bracers - those huge exterior brace things. |
Lol, they gave me something besides that seiki. I don't know what though. xD
I hate my invisaline retainer. x.x I still wear it but it feels weird after i take it off. I will not eat anything for at least 30 min after I do because my teeth are so sensitive. x.x Well, I am going to bed so i can get up in a few hours. Night everyone. xD |
