Well, she was a librarian. And she was in love with nothing save for literature. So she was convinced she had conversations with Anne Frank and Robert Frost and Oscar Wilde etc. They shut down her library because they ran out of funding (for reasons explained through the whole thing) And she kind of goes insane.

Really insane.
