My Dad thinks businesses only care about a business degree from certain schools. Is that true of Law Schools/degrees? Doesn't seem likely, or the other schools wouldn't last.

Credit budgeting- I'm doing that too. I want a lot of the commons, so I need to know what I'm gonna have the money for. Because, I can live without some of the items (well, I can live without all of them, but as far as actually spending goes...).

Oh, wow! That sounds tough! You must have a lot of talent to be going to All-State. ^-^ People who can play string instruments get tons of respect from me. (I'm a pianist, myself.)

Well my teacher thinks I am talented in music.
I am going on both violin and viola.
i am playing Vocalise on violin and movement 2 of a Stamitz concerto on my viola.
They are both slow pieces. (my favorite kind) =P

Snowwhite, for law school it's my experience that they'd take people from anywhere so long as you had the grades and the LSAT scores. It didn't really matter what major you had--I did Political Science but a friend of mine did Philosophy and I knew some people in my class who had business-type and even one Fine Arts major! I don't know if business school might be different, but it seems like it shouldn't matter TOO much where you went for your first degree, if you're a good applicant otherwise.

KidK Mirai: Two things- One: I bet it was nerve-wracking to have the final be so important. And, Two: It's not too hard to learn piano, is it? Probably similar to typing? For some reason, I had it in my head that it must be hard, then I realized that it couldn't be too different from typing (by which I mean, two hands doing two different things.)

And, to prove I'm paying attention, before I wander off to play with my Mom's 'Foo Pet', I wish we could repair and replenish the machine, too. I'm currently a Gardener/Engineer, although I planned to switch to saboteur, later.

Snowwhite, piano can be similar to typing in that sense--that you do things with both hands at once. I think of the instrument as being easy to learn but harder to master. =] Like, it's very easy to learn what keys to press for which notes, and how to play simpler songs, but as you move on it gets more difficult. I've been playing for almost 20 years now (yeaaah, I'm old, today's my 27th birthday, lol) and used to get top marks in competitions when I was younger, and I still find it takes practice to learn new songs, especially fast ones. Slow ones, not as much. But yeah, starting out with piano is easy, once you learn how to read music and learn what all the keys are! ^.^
