By the way, reading for fun is awesome. Reading because you have to is lame. Answering stupid questions and writing essays about a book you would have otherwise enjoyed is torture.

Right now I'm really digging The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Stephen King even gave it a thumbs up (which he did NOT do for Stephanie Meyer and her sparkly vampires).

Its like there's a party in this thread and everyone is invited.

With the exception, of course, of those who were not granted an invitation.

That includes the help.

I enjoy how it's a cross between 1984 and battle royale set in a futuristic north america. One of the hugest differences is how you relate to the districts and the poorer ones' strife. Also a sequel that did not suck, but has me extremely geared up for the third book. It wasn't intended to be a trilogy, but you know... The Capitol Is Angry...

Unfortunately the third book isn't out just yet, however the title and cover art have been released. It is to be called Mockingjay.
