@ainebella: Well yeah, we have a huge impact on Earth but more than anything it's because we over-reproduce. It's our quantity that's damaging, not really the acts we do.


I agree that we could do more for Earth but Earth's own cycle does mean things to it too. :P Sure, we could do without the oil-spill and pollution killing lots of animals etc. but all of that just comes back down to there being just too much of us. I think if we just are able to use other planets for resources and living, we won't have such big environmental problems any more. I think Earth just can't handle our quantity!

And in such in ways humans cannot truly control is still in part. Add on pollution - not only oil spills but excess carbon dioxide that plants can't keep up with turning into oxygen also plays some effect. Sure the way about it would be to plant more trees, but only small groups seem to be willing. And in major cities, there's no space to do so or no green patches other than whatever park there is nearby.

Exactly! I just hate stopping things without knowing. The same thing goes to books. I just can't not read them because they suck. I want to see where the story goes. I mean, maybe it'll get better. Some books/movies suck in the beginning, and then really improve.
