what does IB stand for?
|
International Baccleaurate. It's sort of like AP, but more annoying.
|
oh, I see.
I think I'll stick to my AP xP |
Haha.
IB tests are easier, but AP has wayyy less work. |
And Windy, like I said in the past, MAKE SURE THE COLLEGE YOU WANT TO GO TO ACCEPTS IT!
It is a lie when they say all colleges accept it xD |
I took AP classes not for the college credit but because I wanted to. The classes where much MUCH smaller and we had a blast.
|
Our classes are huge, even though the typical IB class is 15 people, we have 30+.
x_x @Minty: yea, seriously. @[email protected] |
I think the classes are a waist for the most part if you can't get the college credit for it.
Thought I did enjoy AP World even though I did not get the credit...mainly because only 7 people were in the class, most of them being my friends from middle school...one being an old crush. xD |
At our school....there where 5 of us in AP chem
7 in math and 6 in english. |

There are only a few teachers that I don't get scared to talk to. >w<; Oh, the polyatomic ions? D: I hate those. So much effort. I just barely know them all. @[email protected]; And omg, I spent most of my power hour at dinner. D: Does that mean I'll feel twice as full? XD |
well do you?
|
My IB classes are huge.
It's not fun. |
I hate big classes, becauseI am terrified of crowds....its a real phobia.
|
At my school, the ratios are pretty huge.

And that is saying a lot since all classes at my school besides PE could only have a max of 25 students. xD But yeah. Very few people graduated from my HS without taking an AP coarse. xD And your classes are hectic too it seems, Windy. |
Wow. :0
We have IB...basically everything, haha. But only 1/4 of the school is in it, but that means we still have like 150 people. @[email protected] |
Takeing AP at my high school was rare.
|
*pokes head in* helps i need gears!!!!
|
Wish I could help......still cant donate T.T
|
stupid afro donkey
|
Windy- There was an IB program at a school here that pretty much operated the same way and had about the same amount of people. I decided to go to the magnet schools instead since we are not as secluded from the rest of the school as most of the students in that IB program where from their school.
Cora- xD I went to a magnet school, so all my classes were above average anyways, and our class was very competitive academically. I believe the principal said that not only did our class have the statistics in our schools history, but we also had more AP classes taken and passed.xD Aine- I cannot donate either. xD |
T^T i hates you afro donkey!!!
|
IB really doesn't have any prestige though.
=/ I know some VERY unintelligent people that are in my IB classes. |
I was lucky enough to be in one of the best schools in the area, but not many people showed much interest in AP. I was in a school of smart but lazy people
|
wind: i likes you belt!!!
|
In my county, it has a lot of prestige, but a lot of people end up dropping out of it.
In fact, some specifically try out for it TO drop out, so they can go to that highschool. xD Cora- My school, that year because of my class, was the number one in state I believe. xD The magnet schools here have the best academic ratings in GA. xD And that is how my class was, but that drive to have the higher score is what made our grades. As far as school spirit went? HA! xD We did not even leave a senior gift. xD Were too lazy xD And we do not have a senior trip...we were to lazy to plan it xD |
