NICE dragoness.
:3 What better way to spend a birthday than to SPLURGE ON CHEAP STUFF?! xD |
Yeah. ^_^
I think I spent $400 last year. |
I think I hear people talking about money :O!
|
Hello Soul. We are talking about Black Friday.
|
That's awsome dragoness. ^^
I love Black Friday. Last year I helped my aunt get stuff. Me and my sister went to the store at 9pm on Thursday and "stood" where the lines would be. Since they wouldn't let us make lines yet I kept saying "I'm not making a line. I'm trying to decided if I want to buy this garden hose." One of the people said "So it takes you 3 hours to decide if you want a hose." "Why yes, yes it does. A hose is a very important buy." lol, it was so much fun. |
LoL, yeah. Walmart was supposed to not have lines, but apparently people were already filling up their carts. They could just not check out till or 6 am.
|
Dragon - Oh that's cool xD. Isn't that when all of the stores have sales on? I think my parents go to it but never get anything good lol.
|
@ Soul - Yep. My 21st birthday will be on Black Friday this year. ^_^
|
Oh congrats dragon. That is pretty cool xD
|
Thanks. ^_^
Yeah. I thought so too. I love my birthday. |
Yeah we went to Walmart.
And yeah people were filling up their carts early at our store too. You just couldn't get the big ticket items. My sister got her a flat screen tv, I got mp3 players and a DS, and she got a laptop. We did a great job. |
My littlest sister got a DS because mom stood in line forever. A lot was gone when she went to look.
I had my own cart and got lots of DVDs for $2 each, some for $5. I also got some good house items and some Barbies for when my girls are older. ^_^ It was lots of fun. |
I got some games for my nephews for Christmas and some DVDs but I did most of my DVD shopping on Amazon because they had really great sells on there too. They had brand new movies for $2 and $3.

@ Lilith - Cool.
I was really wanting the Tales of Desperux and some others, but they were already gone. |
Check out Amazon this year. They start their sell a week or two before hand. A lot of stuff goes on sell and they have special sells where they have say 100 copies of "2012" for $2. Or they will have it go for that price for 20 minutes. So it was just fun watching all of their sells.
And then if you buy more then $25 it is free shipping. I got 7 movies and three box sets for less then $100. It was great. |
Wow, that does sound great. ^_^
My girls are asleep for the night. |
It is.
Though it did mean that everyone got DVDs for Christmas. I usually give books. That's good. |
I think books are wonderful gifts
Sadly not enough people would appreciate that. |
I think they are too.
I have found ways to make people like them. My mom loves Stephen King so I started getting her his graphic novels. I get my step-dad books on motercycles and histories on airplanes. My step-sister gets Christian inspiration books. Everyone likes something and you can usually find a book on it. |
Some friends came over, so I poofed. But now I am going to head off to bed. Chat more later! ^_^
Books are great presents. |
I'm getting off too.
Night. And yes books are awsome. ^^ They are always what I ask for. |
I've found that often times those that dont like reading are the ones that have trouble with it, and those that think they're "too cool" for it. Like only "nerds" read.
But I agree that there is always something for people to read and enjoy. And I think that if people did read more often, it would increase their intelligence and vocabulary and their writing abilities. |
I know a few people who think they are too cool for it.
And I know that no matter what the book is about I couldn't get my dad to finish any book. But that isn't because he wouldn't want to. He just has dyslexia and is almost completely illiterate because of it. So sad and kind of cool if you think of the fact that a man who can barely read at all, who had a father who couldn't even read a bill, had a daughter who owns over 500 books and reads daily. lol And I am now going to bed. |
Yeah, its crazy the excuses people come up with for why they wont read. I can't stand the "too cool to read" people
Ah. My cousin is dyslexic, too. Its a hard thing to get around. Goodnight. |
