Yep. May 25 has several little observances - my two favorites being Towel Day and Geek Pride Day.

In observance, I admitted my extraterrestrial origins to a few people today. It was quite interesting to see their responses. xD ...*ahem* :|

Well, I'm not REALLY an alien - just a geek with a good enough degree of control over her mind and emotions to perpetuate such a joke.

Maybe you are an alien. Do you have a birth mark? I have a very small one on my back and for the longest time had no idea that I even had one. Told people I didn't have one. When I was a kid, my mom told me I was born from a giant egg and that I was an alien that she adopted.

Well, I know for a fact that I was born to both of my parents. However, my father is the mystery element.

He was adopted.
No one knows anything about his biological parents.
He has my pointy ears and skin color.
Like me, he is deceptively strong for his size and age - more so than I am (perhaps because the strength boost is not "diluted" in him?).
Most suspiciously, he avoids doctors like the plague.

It is a most interesting situation to be in.
