The only current shows I like watching are Hell's Kitchen, Big Bang, Two and a Half Men, and Csi Miami.
|
I actually got rid of a tv recently, decided I didn't really need one.
I like watchin Past Life, Glee and Cougar Town are what I can think of at the moment, but there are more. |
The original Spock was one of the most incredible characters ever to come to television.
Although, it is...not difficult to determine that I think that. I also did quite like Quinto's Spock, although not nearly as much. It was obvious that his mother had a much larger role in raising him in the alternate universe - he was far too emotional. |
I used to watch CSI Miami but I got burnt out on it. I get burnt out on Law and Order CI sometimes too, but after a while I go back and watch the old seasons. I have a thing for Goren
|
Hah. My dad has a 46" that he broke down and got after our old 19" one just wasn't cutting it for Blu-Ray. XD
He says 46" is still small now-a-days. |
yeah the size of TVs today is just ridiculous, IMO. I just have no desire to pay that much, and I dont have room for it anyway. My eye sight isnt that great, but I can watch stuff on my laptop only a foot away
|
wrong forum again omg.
|
The most recent /serialized/ T-V show that I watched was... Avatar: the LAst Airbender? After that I',m watching /old/ shows. Like McHale's Navy, Hogan's Heroes, and Baa Baa Black Sheep. I''m seeing a WWII trend... huh...
Yeah, I haven't had cable for a little under 5 years now. |
TVs seem to be evolving into gigantic, high-tech posters.
One day we will be able to roll them up and ship them in tubes. |
well wwe just had another hit because we are back below 500 again. It was twice that a few minutes ago!
|
Well, I'm getting off now, see you tomorrow.

Bye, Kamarie! Talk to you later.

bye Kamarie

My senile grandparents bought a huge $2000 dollar tv a few years ago. That same year they bought an xbox 360 for my sister, one of my sister's boyfriends, and my grandpa. I love those geezers.
|
Old people are amazing. They have the best stories, they often don't remember how much stuff they've bought you, so they just keep going, and they have the best TV shows.
What does our generation have? Fart jokes and "That's what she said"? |
*fwooshes back in*
The size of t.v.s is getting pretty ridiculous. I remember an aunt who had one of those huge, wall-size t.v.s when I was small. You could barely make anything out becaue of the size. Maybe with HD and all that problem has been fixed, though. Don't forget the lovely "Your Mama" and its kin jokes. TwT; |
All of our jokes evolve around bodily functions or sexual innuendo.
And they all fail, unsurprisingly. |
They may be funny when one is, say, in the seven to ten range. And only for about the first time. Then it's just "Yeah, can we move on here?" Wit would be a nice thing to see make a come back, from what I read in older books. xD

Ah, the forgotten (and forbidden) arts of Satire and Irony. How I miss them.
|
I guess that's just how conversations have evolved over time, too.
Oh, four more minutes until mission/shed time. *_* |
Ello me lovelies. How fare you on this fine evening?
|
We fair foully, Seri.
|
The internet is even worse when it comes to humor. We have memes floating around which were not humorous by any normal standard the first time. Repetition should not make them funny. Yet you can post "OVER 9000!" somewhere, and undoubtedly someone will laugh, simply because it has become the "social norm" online.
Quite a disturbing trend, if you take the time to think about it. |
Aww, that's unfortunate Crown. Would you lot feel better if I tried to make you some arts?
