Ode I also work on my computer all day. I am a graphic designer. I have no opinion of Desperate Housewives as I have never seen it, but I really hate those shows on Bravo. Those women are just so horrible, and I don't know why people like to watch those spoiled harpies

I greatly dislike reality shows. The "popularity = EVERYTHING" mentality they display and encourage is simply appalling.
I have nothing against any other form of entertainment, however, reality shows seem to be one step below human exploitation.

That's just the thing. Makes them feel better than themselves. My mom sometimes gets upset and says she's not been a good mother, but she's done so much over the years. However when she watches DH she's ALL SMILES, haha. Can't beat those idiots with the problems they have.

everything I get into becomes popular at some point. It used to bother me but I dont care any more. I got into anime in 1993, now everyone is into it, so I seem like a midlife crisis otaku LOL

I love many things that are popular. Usually if something is popular, it is for a reason. I may or may not agree with the reason.
In recent years I have grown less likely to agree with the reason; society's taste seems to be degrading significantly - or maybe that's just me.

However, reality shows that basically give you the scenario "OKAY, popular vote from our viewers DECIDES EVERYONE'S FATE, SO BE POPULAR GUYS!" really do not strike me as something that we should be driving into people's minds.
