I've been buying with credits. If it comes down to it in the last leg of the event and I really want something, I'll buy it with gold. But I prefer to use the credits.

Nah. The deal I made with amani was for a few items. I have already converted seeds to credits and spent credits on about 290 monocles. I have sold 75 a while back, but I am saving the rest to sell once the event ends and they double in price.
