Wasps are so easy to catch, though. Wait 'til they land, and then be ready with a plastic cup (like a yogurt cup or butter tub), and a stiff piece of paper or cardboard to slip carefully over the top once you've covered the insect with it.

I have never been stung using this method. Mostly the insect just wants to get outside. :)
