xDDD

I was only gonna hoover out the dust, must have knocked a circuit somewhere and when i put the main back in it went POOF! and smoke came out of the power box....

Im not taking total blame mum ASKED me to do it. And it was breaking anyway.

WHY DO I ALWAYS END UP MAKIN THINGS DIE WHEN THEYRE ALREADY DYING AND THUS FEEL GUILTY!!

Hey Kat, try not to dwell huh, we make our own choices in the end. The dust will settle, at least you were brave and told them :)

Kat Dakuu 05-30-2010 09:25 PM

is jean a flower and forgot to tell us?

well, I kinda told my mom on accident at first...

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:26 PM

Lavi, you literally made it explode? oO Wow, I'm impressed. The closest I've come to that was with a mouse. (And that was a battery issue.)

Jeannesha 05-30-2010 09:26 PM

I'm a wilting flower...

Lavinia 05-30-2010 09:27 PM

xD She's a honeysuckle!

Ah well. We all have to tell em sometime!

Mum wants me to tell my brother what happened and i know he's gonna be like "YOU TIT! YOU BROKE IT! £500 WASTED!" even though he knows it was on its way out anyway xD

-feels guilty- :gonk:

Kat Dakuu 05-30-2010 09:27 PM

okay, I really have to go. bye

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:28 PM

She is? I love honeysuckles!

Ahh, don't feel guilty, Lavi. If it was going to explode, well... You were only trying to help?

Later, Kat.

Jeannesha 05-30-2010 09:29 PM

Bye, Kat.
Where you going?

Lav...I'd rather be a umm.... man, I can't remember what they're called.
Boy, I HATE it when that happens. The purple flowers that grow on bushes in the spring up north. Lovely lovely smell...

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:30 PM

Jeanne: Lilacs?

Jeannesha 05-30-2010 09:31 PM

YES!!! Thank you!!

I'd love to be a lilac bush...

(Man, what a senior moment)

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:31 PM

No problem, Jeanne. :) Yeah, those are beautiful flowers. I love that scent!

No worries, I just have flowers on the brain.

Facade 05-30-2010 09:32 PM

Jeanne, I enjoy your senior moments.

-pees in Lavi's bag-

Lavinia 05-30-2010 09:32 PM

Lavender? xD

-not so good with flowa'z-

Blue-bells? (i LOVE blue bells, theres odd patches all over my town this year xD)

I think the power supply in my mums bedroom is cursed to be honest. We've always had screens or computers blowing fuses since the dawn of computers! Its just that its always me that ends up being the one to finally kill em off. O_O

Ahaha, ah well, i know what i did now. I thought it was a reset button, but it changed the voltage...so ive blown a fuse.

Quote:

If you tried running on 110V in a 220V country, you've probably blown a fuse in the supply (at the least), or damaged the supply and possibly other components.
I love the "at the least" bit

Jeannesha 05-30-2010 09:34 PM

Lilac is one of those scents that they just can't get right.
Anything that's supposed to be lilac-scented just stinks as far as I'm concerned.

There is nothing so wonderful as a bunch of fresh lilacs.
I really miss them. We can't grow them down here in Texas.

The only thing that comes close is the Texas Mountain Laurel tree.

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:36 PM

Oh, lavender smells wonderful, too!

Jeanne, they don't grow down south? That's awful! They're pretty common here. Oh, and Crabtree & Evelyn do a pretty decent lilac scent. (At least, they used to. Hmm.) Not cheaply, though.

Lavi: Wow, maybe you should have your wiring looked at? Sounds like a fire hazard... oO

Jeannesha 05-30-2010 09:39 PM

Yup. The bushes need to freeze in order to grow the blooms again in the spring.
It's kinda strange, but that seems to be the way it works.

It doesn't really freeze here too often.

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:39 PM

Huh. I did not know that, Jeanne. But this climate does provide the necessary freezing.

Swarley 05-30-2010 09:41 PM

*rolls in and starts nomming on Cica's lightning* :ninja:

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:42 PM

XD Hello, Ari! *Retaliates by tugging at her floating TP ghost.*

Wings of Writing 05-30-2010 09:46 PM

okay i'm back but the computer is still being stupid

Jeannesha 05-30-2010 09:50 PM

It also may be too hot in the summer for the bush...

Whoa...I posted and tons of post showed up suddenly in front of mine!

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:50 PM

Welcome back, Wings!

How hot is hot, Jeanne?

Jeannesha 05-30-2010 09:51 PM

Well, right now it's 95 degrees, and it isn't even summer yet.

Wings of Writing 05-30-2010 09:53 PM

i wonder what the temp is outside right now. oh wait you're in texas aren't you jeanne? then 95 is probably pretty accurate.

Cicadetta 05-30-2010 09:53 PM

Yeah, okay, that might be too hot, Jeanne. XD Granted, it's in the mid-80s and humid here right now.
