Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:28 AM

Last? D=

Im sure there was another on the last night of the event? Who knows though -ponders-

shinigamikarasu 06-01-2010 01:28 AM

I thought is was supposed to be tomorrow. It said June 1st in the FAQ thread.

Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:29 AM

Shin. It will the 1st at midnight ;)

----------

Oh wait...its the 1st for me now :gonk:

14 DAAAIIZZZZ LEFT! O_O

Woodlandnymph 06-01-2010 01:29 AM

aw, but I want it now!

14 days left for what Lav?

shinigamikarasu 06-01-2010 01:30 AM

@ Lavi: That was it. I might have to wait until the next day to get it, though. I have to get up early that morning.

Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:31 AM

Till i finish college and move down south :gonk:

Well...i may not move down STRAIGHT after leaving college doors xD

But im sure gonna try!

(don't worry gaiz, its nothin like your college, its just the business course. and i only did half of it anyway, my other half will be done down south and will be environmental science...even harder O_O )

----------

Then its off to University to do "student life" PROPERLY!

And suffer from lack of money, work and assignments pilling up around me :stare:

shinigamikarasu 06-01-2010 01:33 AM

How far south do you plan on going?

I don't think I could live anywhere outside of Maine to be honest.

Woodlandnymph 06-01-2010 01:34 AM

Nice lav! good luck with the move! Teach those southern Britons a thing or two about the North :P

I love Environment Science, I got to take a few courses in it, since I had a lot of friends with that major..... I even took an art and ES course, all about journaling nature and gathering information.... and watercolor painting and inking for me :P

Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:37 AM

xD Woody i used to wanna be a journalist. Nature journalism would have been my preference too if i'd have taken literature, but i did enviro science and business instead so i don't think i could get into it, i still intend to use my skillz to write lots articles and take lots of pichars though :P

I suppose the management part would get me higher on the skalez in the long run :P

Shin - its only about 350 miles down. Im in the UK remember so no matter where i moved i'd still only be a train or two away from relatives =3

It'll just be so strange living somewhere new. I've never moved out of home, nevermind movin in with my man! xD

I sure hope he can put up with my "off" days

----------

Did lavi kill the conversation?

Woodlandnymph 06-01-2010 01:43 AM

that would have been cool Lav, my aunt is a journalist. She worked in Philly, DC, and now in Louisville, Ky. She even got to go to India to do an investigative piece on the treatment of women in this rehabilitation facility. She was there for like, half a year, and goes back often now to visit.... got an award for it too, but the name escapes me.

Management is important. You need goooood people skills for that, cause there are a lot of arse in charge, and we don't like that!!! lol You'd be great.

nope, just downloading pictures too

shinigamikarasu 06-01-2010 01:43 AM

Ah, that's nice.

Most of our family is in Massachusetts. My mom thinks she might go back down there eventually, but I like Maine too much to leave. We moved around when my dad was in the army, so I have a lot to compare it to.

Woodlandnymph 06-01-2010 01:45 AM

I don't feel like a true New Englander, since I have never been to Maine. This is a sore spot with me, cause I have been invited tons of times, things always crop up so I can't go.... sadly.

I am from ct (back there now), and lived in Vt for 5 years

Wings of Writing 06-01-2010 01:45 AM

lol no lavi wings has gotten herself distracted by dr. g and fanfiction

Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:46 AM

OOoh i see. Well i sure hope your mum doesn't drag you away then!

My boyfriend moved around a lot when he was younger cause his dad was in the Marines over here.

I'd hate to drag our children out a place where they have friends and memories though. So when jim joins, i hope if theres any major moves they are still young and forgetful xD

shinigamikarasu 06-01-2010 01:49 AM

I didn't mind moving too much, since I love traveling, but I would hate to live anywhere else.

The only other place I remember that I really enjoyed living there was Germany.

Woodlandnymph 06-01-2010 01:51 AM

my sister lived in Germany! that's where my niece was born :) did she learn german?? noooot really. silly sister

Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:51 AM

Lavi loves Germany! Thats why i spurt out a lot of German. I try to teach myself more now and then xD

Jim was born there actually, in an Raf base in Wegberg

I was just readin some history on New England about the plymouth council settling there, Jims in plymouth right now D=

So far away from meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

shinigamikarasu 06-01-2010 01:53 AM

I wish I had learned German. We were there for about three years. From when I was thee to five years old. My brother was actually born there.

I was actually born in Maine, believe it or not. Somehow we just ended up back here. Even though my parents are from Mass.

Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:53 AM

OMG i'd sooo learn german if i was moving there. Thats why im starting early, in case i get my wish to live there for a while :ninja:

Woodlandnymph 06-01-2010 01:54 AM

he's in plymouth mass?

new england has some interesting history... I am not a huge fan of american history, since it was beaten in ma head since kindergarten. I prefer British and colonial (and Indian) history

I know old english, so that helps my german a lot!

~Sara Lee Cupcake~ 06-01-2010 01:54 AM

hey hey guys...just popping in for a min. i needed to change my avi

Sayomi 06-01-2010 01:55 AM

*Bounces in* Omg Woody, where'd you get that owl. ITS SO CUTE

shinigamikarasu 06-01-2010 01:55 AM

... I took some Latin in high school, but that's about all the experience I have in any language other than English.

I'd love to learn either German or Finnish, though.

Lavinia 06-01-2010 01:56 AM

xD No plymouth in England :P

I have to be honest, i hardly know any American history. I buried my head in Ancient history books instead xD
