:gonk: You should learn! It's super fun! Even if all you do is float!
|
Boogie boarding is Amazing. My nephew is so cute!!! I love him.
Google is a number with 100 zeros. That might explain some of it, now wouldn't it? |
I miss my swimming pool T_T
|
I went swimming last night.

Psh! Google is a search engine! |
I've tried to learn before. I just can't get the hang of it. I live in south Mississippi, so I live near the beach. It isn't pretty like Hawaii's beaches, though.
I do want to try the whole surfing-pool thingy? Simulated surfing. I don't know what it's called. |
That would be cool to try!
|
My mom hated having to wait for me, cuz I'd go all the way back to the shore.
IT'S A NUMBER TOO. IT WAS A NUMBER BEFORE IT WAS A SEARCH ENGINE. I don't know if I want to try that... |

Ooo! I tried that one. I feel and hit my head. ---------- Quote:
NO IT ISN'T! |
Washington has...okay beaches. I like Owen's beach. Even though it's more gravel than sand.
YES IT IS! |
GNO IT ISN'T!
Ewww gravel! |
Seito - Honestly, our beach looks disgusting. Other than the seafood industry and that sort of thing, I don't see why people are so worried about the oil possibly coming this way. It's not like it'll mess up anything beautiful. The water's all brown, and there's sewage in parts of it. Most locals, ones that have been here a good while, don't really swim in it. We kind of cringe when we see tourists swimming in it...
If I lived elsewhere, I wouldn't travel here for the beaches at all. Maybe the casinos. That's kind of the only thing we have going for us. |
@ First to Never Know: That is very gross!
TO be honest, only beach I have ever been to is Virginia beach, it is the closest to me ( I live in West Virginia) , but I've only been there a couple times. It's a longgg drive. |
That... doesn't sound good. :gonk: Brown water makes my cringe.
|
It's pebble-y gravel. IT IS TOO.
They're probably worried for the fishies, not the people. |
Ugh, that hurts the feet. NO IT ISN'T!
|
I'M SOOO HUNGRY. I usually eat dinner at 5:30.
It doesn't hurt your feet. It's sand, then pebble stones. IT IS A NUMBER |
|
Me too. The water is mostly brown, because there are islands, the barrier islands, a couple miles out, that bring dirt and stuff into the water, and it's kind of trapped there... Kinda hard to explain, but the dirt in the water makes it brown... It's still gross, though.
People are worried about tourists not wanting to come to the beaches to swim if the oil makes it to shore. |
Chicken nuggets are cooking.
This is owen beach: http://img.youtube.com/vi/-5Gk1fVC-ig/0.jpg IT IS TOO If there are signs saying not to swim, then it's the tourists fault. |
But but if the water is brown to begin with why swim? People are confusing.
@IWIsh ooo chicken nuggets. That's a pretty beach. NO IT ISN'T |
hmm chicken nuggets. sounds like a good idea to me *goes and makes some*
|
Cuz some people don't care if you can't see the bottom. Personally, I won't swim in water if I can't see the bottom.
:D It's pretty on a sunny day, and it's surrounded by a forest in the back. It's also by the zoo. IT IS TOO I wish they were ready already. |
I guess people still swim there, 'cause it's free? I don't know.
I much prefer the waterpark, but it's $30 per day, unless you get a season pass before the season starts.[COLOR="Silver"] |
I wish the replenish thing would work. I have 37 flowers.
Huh. I still wouldn't swim. |
