@ Sora: sweet. I'm actually trying to self teach myself the animation part. All the classes I've taken so far have only taught modeling and texturing, but I wanted to get a head start for the actual animation class in the fall since it's what I actually want to do. So far, I've only made a ball bounce. ^.^;

Animating is so much more fun to me than the modeling part. xD I got the animating part down really quick when we were learning that part.

Modeling is so tiresome. I mean, I've made some things I'm proud of but it is by no means what I want to do. I'm so glad to be moving into the animating part!

Same here, I wasn't too keen with making the models, I mostly wanted to animate everything and get it working right.

Hm, I kind of do a lot of things from my degree. But the two from my degree I really want to do the most are Photography and Video Filming / Editing.

Would someone please attack out machine so I can have something to do with all of my gears? XD

Same could be said for our machine, haha.
Whenever I switched to Engineer, our machine would always be fine. D8
Same with the flowers. I've got 261 flowers and 135 gears that I can't use.

Ah, I see. I am a Pixar fangirl so I'm animation all the way. To work for them would make my life complete. O.O

@dusk: if I had any spanners, I would, and I would ask you to do that same. I see they upped the damage done by sabotage, but it hasn't made much of a difference. :|

My parents actually would tease me about how one day they'll see my name under a Pixar movie. XD; That's mostly because a lot of students in our department decided on the last two months that it'd be a good idea to just leave and not work on our animated movie we were doing for our final project as a whole department. It got shown in a nearby movie theater, it was a nice and fun experience.

My name popped up a lot in the credits for several different things because thanks to those lackey students, me and practically three other people plus our professor had to do everything. = o =;;;

Then those students who left came back on the night the movie was showing and acted like they had done a lot of work. I wanted to kick them so badly. > o <;;;

wow, way to go you for pulling it off, those people would tick me off sooooo baaaaad D:< I WOULD kick them >:D

@Sora: Jerks. That's so cool that you got your movie shown in the theater. It must have been lots of fun. Man this is getting me all excited about animation again!

Oh man I was so pissed, but I didn't let my cool down. XD I was there to have fun and I wouldn't let them stop me.

Well for that class our final project will be making a model, rigging the model, and than animating it to do... something?

We have a separate class for a movie. With that one we'll be in three person groups and work on our own movies for the entire semester. I hope I get hooked up with good people for that. :/

Ooh, I see.
They just taught us how to model and then how to animate what we modeled. Then during the rest of the time, we all worked on one movie.

Ours was about a female scientist who moves to an abandoned island with all her robot creations because society was too afraid to accept her robots. Then one robot ends up not liking how their "mother" was controlling them and refusing to let them go see the world. She ends up getting killed and it's then a fight between the group of good robots and bad robots until the final battle where the good robot wins. :)
