The BBC is the British Broadcasting Company.
We can get that on cable here in the states.

@Rainbow Pocky -- that's why forensic shows became so popular in the US, because the cop shows sucked so bad. I HATE cop shows with a passion, I'm from a police family and normally they make the police look so stupid.

I've watched a lot of international police dramas and they're a mixed bag, but generally they are a lot better. Wallender is a Swedish one that Americans can probably find, that is good, though it has a really lame subplot involving his daughter joining the police force.

I wish we got BBC America. A lot of good shows supposedly come on it such as Doctor Who, Robin Hood...I think there were a few others that I wanted to see but I don't remember what they were. :/

They might have though, I mean there's a darn lot of good English crime series... like Waking The Dead.. that one is awesome... :)

Ah, well I don't have cable, granny. I have satellite. I "love" having 8000 channels with nothing at all on them.

I don't like Waking the Dead very much. But I don't like most TV.

You should be able to get it on satellite too! But I believe it is still one of the premium channels on satellite.

We have Dish, and I think that we get the BBC.

I really wouldn't know. Not a big Star Trek fan and I haven't seen any of Doctor Who. My bad. I really don't wacth much tv. Mom figure an sis like Deadliest Catch and NCIS, so I usually end up watching those with them.

I have never gotten into the Doctor Who show.
I know that my sister watches it all the time.
