Birdie-- I'm doing good. Taking a nap on Mehi's lap while chatting before I go off and go to bed.

When I get really bad headaches usually sound doesn't bother me. I can still lie down with my music playing quietly (having music on or some other sound helps me get to sleep too). But light will bother me and just the fact of standing up/being up right will make it worse, like my head is being squeezed.

I had one once while I was working. It was horrible. I was an EMT at the time and could not afford to lay down. I just kept downing ibuprophen hoping it would go away.

is it nice outside there to? It's bit nice out here, it has been raining contently lately though

I think that ibuprofen works for many pains.

It was suppose to rain today here, but it hasn't yet. It is way too hot and sticky for me though. I am staying inside. Heat gives me bad headaches too.

I am an ibuprofen gel cap person.

Ibuprofen is the generic drug. It is the same thing as Advil.

I buy the generic because it is so very much cheaper, and works just as well.

Sovi-- you're going to jynx yourself and end up with another week of rain if you celebrate the nice weather too much ^_^

We actually have a really nice day out here too. I'm hoping it continues into tommorrow for all the picnics that will be going on.

ibuprofen is good for lots of things, not just pains. It does help with minor pains anywhere in the body but it also is really good for fevers too.

OH it is the same thing... wow i am stupid.
I wont jynx it hopefully!

It works better for toothaches that oxycontin, for me.

I would rather use it than most any of the perscription drugs.

Something happened to my vision, and it changed quite a bit.

Oh well at lest it was something that was fixed fairly easily, >.< I get a head sometimes from one of my older pair of glasses if I can't find my normal ones. The body can be so sensitive can't it.

OMG an EMT that would be so impossible for me to do. Wow how come you don't do it anymore, to much stress?

Ibuprofin is a bit of an anti inflammatory as well as being a pain-reliever. I take prescription grade ibuprofin for my jaw. ._.

oh my it's quick in here I think I'm missing some posts

I use Ibuprofen for everything with pain. Tylenal has no effect on my pain anymore, doctor thinks I became immune to it. But for fevers I still have to take tylenal to get it down, ibuprofen wont bring my fevers down.

OH Benyndryll, or however you spell it, is great for allergies, it makes you pass out!! Well fall asleep or get drowsy

Perscription grade ibuprofen is just 4 of the regular tablets.
That works for me also.

I have a step son who works in an ER. He said that it's a very good "go to" drug.

Oh dear, listen to me talk about drugs! I should stick with nicer things, like sweets.

Birdie, I am not an EMT any more because not only did I let my license lapse, on purpose might I add, but I am also in nursing school and i didn't want anything besides Mene distracting me from my studies.

I wanna go camping but i never have the time and i am not very good with bugs like mosquitoes and such!! XD

Where did you go camping, Mehi?

Nursing sounds like a much nicer job. Still helping people but at a more relax pace.

Benadryl doesn't make me drowsy at all. I down that a lot during the summer because I am allergic to so many insects. I get hives just from masquitoes!! Since I've been using Benadryl for so long I don't get the drowsy side effect.

Birdie-- it's not late here. It's only 4:30, but I've been up since ten last night.

I go camping out by a lake in the middle of Nowhere, Mississippi (which is not a real place btw).

I do not camp anymore.
I hate the mosquitoes!
