@ Elysium: I don't know yet. That was my original plan but one of my friends' cats just had kitten so I may get one of those.

@Kings: that was one of the requirements for me and my roommate for an apartment, it had to allow pets. She has a cockatiel and I want my cat.

Well, my apartment is only $425/m water paid for by the Land lord. Sooo yeah that's a pretty good deal.

Yeah, whenever I decide to move out I'm going to have to find a place that allows pets too. I couldn't stand not even having one cat around me. They're the best soul-soothing devices known to man as far as I'm concerned.

I'd go for the friend's kitten. Either way, your giving an animal a good home.

@Kings: Mine is 405/m water ten dollars a month i believe and we pay electricity seperately but that's it.

@Elysium: Yeah I probably will and I lived in a dorm all this past school year without any pets but a fish and it drove me insane!

@Granny: A friend of mine tried applying to them but got rejected from them all. I dunno, I think that I could probably land a job in one...my friend doesn't look like the type that would work in a bookstore and the bookstores around me are snobbish that way.

The next cat I get will probably be from a shelter. You can get pretty good cats from shelters, too. What with the stupid people in the world who abuse animals.

I once saw a $2000 purebred Ragdoll in a shelter with only the fee for adoption. Now, THAT was a deal. She was the sweetest thing, too. Unfortunately I didn't have the space for her in my home at that point.
