Pie-whimpers slightly jealous as he lays on your foot unnable to stay asleep-

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 06:39 PM

*strolls through* ... errrm... Hiya. Hope you don't mind another party-crasher!

How's everyone doing? Gathering everything we want from the event so far?

Kings Anointed 06-04-2010 06:39 PM

Hello Blaze!-waves- Oooh Hace Calor.

Claudia 06-04-2010 06:40 PM

One of my professions is massage therapy. I am what I call a dual careerist.
Thing is I "lost" some of it when I hurt my back and have neded a "brush up" with someone ever since.
Since this is hard to arrange, it needs to be done before I can get more serious again.
What I have been doing is giving two people massages in a nursing home but I need more of the skills I lost before going back into the part of the field I really want which is to work in tourism. Long story short, another fine mess that needs time, energy and torubleshooting.

ChOcOlAtE_PiE 06-04-2010 06:41 PM

@Kings- Don't worry you will get your time for the yum yums.

Hi Blaze! Don't worry party crashing is good around here. So far I have everything I want for the event. What about you?

@Claudia- Wow if you're a therapist you would do lovely in one of the Hotels over here.

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 06:44 PM

*waves* Hiya guys and thanks for the welcome!

Yeah, I'm doing ok for the event I think.. but it would be nice to get a couple more things or another set of EIs... I'm not sure which I prefer at this point.

GrannyJ 06-04-2010 06:45 PM

Good afternoon, everybody!
I hope you are all well,

Claudia 06-04-2010 06:46 PM

Nice to know.
What I'm mainly hoping to do is get my art portfolio finished up, start applying to art jobs and then get back really serious with brushing up my massage work skills. Because I'm sure it'll take me a while to land an art job plus I need experts to review my gallery for me. I'll need to do some meetings with another person to re-learn the skills I lost during my back injury.

GrannyJ 06-04-2010 06:47 PM

Claudia, I had never liked that staff before, but it looks wonderful with the tree and your outfit!

Claudia 06-04-2010 06:47 PM

Oh thanks, I think it goes well with the tree.

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 06:47 PM

An artist, Claudia? What kind of things do you do?

Kings Anointed 06-04-2010 06:48 PM

You're welcome Blaze! Hey Granny!

Asahi Kumoru 06-04-2010 06:48 PM

*waves to GrannyJ*

I'm not sure I've ever had fresh papaya before, just from the can in those fruit cocktail mixes ^^;;

Claudia 06-04-2010 06:49 PM

Actually I've been trying to call this massage friend right now. She can be really hard to reach and make any plans with. I know she remembers massage a lot better then I do. Probably because she actually enjoys it while I just need the money.

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 06:50 PM

Funny how if you enjoy it, it seems to work out better for you and you remember it more, huh?

ChOcOlAtE_PiE 06-04-2010 06:51 PM

Hiya again Blaze :)

Welcome back Granny *huggles*

@Claudia- Is there any other career you wanna take up?

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 06:52 PM

Hello again ChOcOlAtE_PiE

Claudia 06-04-2010 06:53 PM

I love design type work the most. Ideally I'd like a sculpture studio and work for myself ( only because I've developed trust issues with people being unreliable and cheating on me).
Massage work is more promising though so it seems like a good idea to keep more then one "thing" going at a time. Even if I sometimes alternate between them.
I'm very fond of how shall I put, project oriented work that requires me to think.
Repetition is not my thing, which is why I am bored with massage and often bored with artwork as well.
I guess this is part of why I call myself mentally hyperactive.

zigbigadorlube 06-04-2010 06:54 PM

*Pops in for a short while*

Hello.

Kings Anointed 06-04-2010 06:55 PM

-falls asleep ceasing to be cuddly-

ChOcOlAtE_PiE 06-04-2010 06:56 PM

@Claudia- That is true. But you should always choose the option that makes you happier doing. You're not gonna work if you don't like what you're doing.

Hi again zigbig *noms on head*

*lies down next to kings*

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 06:56 PM

The art field -whether graphic design or fine arts / sculpture - is very competitive... and fickle, from my experience... but, I do believe that if at all possible, you should follow your heart and see where it leads

Yeah 06-04-2010 06:56 PM

I wish my daughter would make up her mind what she wants to do as far as a career, she's making me nuts. She was going into nursing but, now she doesn't want to do it and is talking about dental hygiene but, she isn't even sure about that. She just graduated high school and really needs to figure it out.

zigbigadorlube 06-04-2010 06:57 PM

Noooo! I r not fuds! T_T

Looks like I'll have to leave in a minute again. T_T

Aw... You should give her some time Yeah. I went to school for a year before I decided what I wanted to do. You have to take a lot of general education classes in the beginning anyway so for the most part it doesn't really matter. >.<
