Morning everyone! I'll be around for a few hours, then I need to go to school to write a paper (collecting my freebies during it of course!!), then class. But I'll try to pop in and chat as often as I can. And this weekend, Ellie works, so I'll be around during the daytime for most of it.

hiya! Haven't been around much lately, it seems I keep getting new games I get addicted to. My son has me playing WoW now, so I've been neglecting all of the other games lately.

Is it just me or is this event kind of confusing? I think I'm just not paying too much attention and not really reading whats going on.

I haven't picked a team yet. Who does everyone have?

I have whichever the copper colored team is. Sprocket? I like copper more than silver. lol. I have bad reasons for choosing sides. >.>

Siaaaa~~ or anyone that knows what is going on with the event because the kids are fighting right now and giving me a headache so textwall FAQ will not be read for a bit still...to do my job, I just have to click "mission" right?

Have there been event items yet? I didn't realize this started so I'm way behind. I'm rather confused.

Ah-ha! I read through some of the FAQ while the monsters were standing in the corner for fighting. >.< Have to click on your teams HQ link in the bar at the bottom to do your job for your team.

Roo- so far there has been one event item released. It's a pair of steampunk pants. I haven't collected enough seeds yet to get them though. xD I think it takes 10 seeds and I'm only at 8.25.

Yay! A purkles thread. :) I'm still slightly confuzzled by this event, but as I am playing and going through it it's getting easier. :) I know what you mean about games taking up your time. I keep on getting sucked into FB games(mainly Farmville, CafeWorld, and some others.) That and Mass Effect for the 360, lol.

Sprocket is Silver Mel--cause that's the reason I chose it!! :D

Deniece, it is a little confusing at first, but honestly, all you really need to worry about is the following:

* Clicking on "Shed" & Mission" on the toolbar every 15 minutes. The Shed will give you more of the stuff you need for performing your job (which you also get from posting), the Missions will give you the chance to earn credits (event currency for Event Commons)

* Clicking on the HQ Link periodically to do your jobs (which are listed on the left of the toolbar). Each time you do so, you will get a portion of a seed, which is used for earning the Event Rares. However, this is somewhat glitched, so may not always take your item, AND, if your levels are too close to 100%, you can't turn in any either.

I guess my levels are too close to 100 then for the gardener secondary job. It keeps telling me my flower basket is empty...and yet I have like 26 of the darn things!
Donating currency (flowers, etc) seems to be glitched. AfroDonkey pops up whenever I try to donate to someone telling me he borked it. xD

Alright, so I went through the event store and got everything I wanted...minus one item which I need to get up a bit more gold for. I should have it by the end of the event...xD

I *think* I'm on the bronze team... and I picked gardener, although I'm not sure if it worked, and I really don't know about the secondary profession.

*wanders through* I wanna go back to bed - both girls are sick and now Im getting it *sighs* I just want sleep lol

I'm whatever team is second on the list. The first one was full and I'm a gardner as well.

I tried getting my mule to join the top team too, but it told me it was full as well. </3 so she still hasn't joined a team.

Maybe both teams had caps? But that sounds unlikely.
