and i just applied to my 2nd art/craft fair in 2 days - hopefully i'll get accepted to at least one of them.

blaze - yea juried - those are the suckiest for me right now - i know my stuff is good but i feel like until i get a hauberk made or something they won't even consider me.

one of the fairs I applied for really made me mad too. They're original deadline was april 11th, which i made sure we had required pics of stuff and set up in on time. Then they extended it a week - then 2 - then they sent out letters of invite to artists that were there last year (which had never been done) and after all that I was denied because there were 400 applicants for 140 spaces.

I seriously call shenanigans. I mean i know you have to have a certain standard, but come on!!!!

Sorry to have missed you Jaz - the page didn't refresh automatically, so I didn't catch your post until after you left (presumably). That one show sounds... manipulative... at the very least. Don't worry about your work - it's great and will only get better with more time and experience! You're out there doing these shows which is more than a lot of creative types can say!

That's really weird - I have that happen sometimes on pages that have been sitting for a day or so unused- but never that frequently :(

Well, at least you know what I'm talking about! That's a plus! And yes, I've been seeing the message fairly regularly, but not quite enough to get truly frustrated at it... *shrugs*

I'm pretty good - tired - I should be going to bed.

Was a totally long day- I had a doctor appointment early this morning - then I had to go grocery shopping, then I had to stop and pick up the CSA delivery- then I had to quick eat 2nd breakfast and head to work. Today is one of my late nights so I work 1-9 - just got home and finished a bagel with sheep's cheese and contemplating tearing myself away form the computer and getting some sleep.

It's been a busy day for me as well (although not as busy as some lately) and I'm tired now and wondering why that is (I didn't do THAT much today to warrant being so tired!)...

I blame the pregnancy for my being really tired all the time - of course it could just be because I'm lazy and out of shape - but baby is a much better excuse :XD

I'm not particularly out of shape and I got sleep last night, so I really don't know why I'm feeling so tired right now... perhaps sitting at the computer too long? That could be it...

Actually - that's probably it right there... I don't think I did take my vitamins today!! That would also explain some of the weird food (for me) that I've been thinking about / finding myself reaching for... Thanks! *trots off for a moment to take a vitamin or two*

Stuff like that usually occurs to me. Today it didn't (must really be tired!), so extra "thanks!"

I actually forgot to take my prenatal today after my lunch break at work like I usually do - but I remembered on the drive home so I took one with my 'dinner' snack.

I try to be consistent about when I take the vitamins- but sometimes that just doesn't happen. - actually, I need to call in a refill on the prescription I'm down to a week's supply and I don't know when I'll actually make it to the pharmacy to pick up the vitamins.


*yawn* I think I'm going to wander off to bed - it's 10:30 already and for some reason it takes me at least half an hour to actually make it into bed - night!

And now it's a beautiful new morning... and ... *looks around* ... nobody's here to chat with???? And I was hoping to do the power hour thing...

I hate prenatal vitamins, they get caught in my throat. xD I take flinstones daily when I give them to the kids. xD My doctors don't complain so neither do I. Flinstones> other vitamins. lolz.

Though the dark purple ones give me an upset stomach. :/

LOL Mel! The prenatals (and some other vitamins as well) used to get caught in my throat too... but if the flintstones work for ya... ;)

I always had that problem with pills, so when I had to start taking prenatals daily with my first pregnancy I went crazy. Some days I couldn't keep them down. I got some nicely small coated ones with her...then with the twins I stayed with the same brand but with this pregnancy it was just too much work to put in a prescription. xD

*nod* I understand, Mel. Sometimes keeping up with the prescriptions is just more than one person can deal with!!
