Yep... know what you mean, Mel. That's one reason why I'll use a different username when I go to an "unknown" site and why when I do use the same username (like here) I tend to stick to the threads that I *know* have people I know -and like- in them...

Anyhow, I should probably be devoting more attention to the comic. I'm working on the backstory as an incentive to buy the volumes. It looks awesome, but its so far from finished that I'm pretty sure that I'll be finished with the meat of the story before I even get close to the end. And I'm even abridging it quite a bit. o_o
