What's really odd is that I left the site to play WoW for a few minutes and when I came back it said I have 2 credits lol.... do they show up whether we're here to get them or not?

Sprockets are definitely winning.... 2 credits on Deniece, and when I got back on here just now it says I have 10 credits on this one.

Wondering.... if I post with Deniece, then post again from here, is that considered double posting? lol, just thought about that.

Hey all. I'm at school, SUPPOSED to be writing a quick paper, but I'm obviously not doing a very good job of that, now am I?

Oh my gosh, I did the exact same thing literally 2 seconds before I scrolled down and read this. I thought it would give you a paragraph explaining what it was, then it would have a button. I didn't know it WAS the button! CRAP! lol

Cold cold cold day for me. It's close to 92 outside but the air in the library is definitely working- I'm getting ready to put on my wool wrap.

Actually- it's just about dinner time so I think I might heat up my food and eat in the garden out back of the library so I can warm up.

Blaze, I'm actually just about done with my paper--I'm lucky enough that it's only a 1-2 pager and class isn't till 7. All I have to do before I go to class is stop in the food court to heat up my dinner and get a fork.

Oh that's not bad! Usually when you say "paper" on the college level, it's usually much more than a handful of paragraphs!!

Yes, it usually is. This is a summe class, and they tend to be lighter than regular courses. But, we have 2 of these papers due each week--on Mondays we have to write a review of a journal article and on Wednesdays we have to review a periodical article. 2-5 pages on Monday, 1-3 on Wednesday.

The hardest part is actually finding articles that relate to current issues in college student health (this is my health credit, so I have to focus on that topic for ALL my work).

People make college sound so scary. D: I'm not looking forward to art history courses next year. >_<

Papers... yeah... there ARE benefits to going to a private school instead of a regular campus although we still had to do several papers during the course of our educational experience (I generally don't mind writing papers though. Like you say, Jaz - starting the paper is usually the worst part of it!)

actually, I'm not sure I can blame you. i've been having a hard time getting my head around this event, but I think all that really happens is that you end up accumulating extra nuts/seeds/whatever-they-are (event shop currency...?).

i do like that you can get credits even if you aren't here, but it's still a very complicated event. I know admin wants every event to be different - but too crazy and you risk losing people because of it.
