we like tv but we like watch tv with out comercals so we buy the box sets

My parents watch a lot of tv but I don't watch that much. Was only watching Idol cause it was on and was the finale.

At my Dad's house the TV is the first thing turned on upon returning home. At my mom's house it's on pretty much all day at unnecessary volumes. I just can't stand some people's like obsession wit it, sitting there watching it all day. And some of the shows are just downright dumb. I mean there are good things on TV too but most of it is just crap in my opinion. >.<

Zig- It's the same way here. As soon as my mom comes home from work she turns the tv on and cranks it up. Doesn't matter that if I'm trying to sleep in the next room. Then it will get left on even if no one is at home. I think I'm the only one the actually turns it off.

Yeah... Same here with the problem sleeping. My room is right above the living room so I can hear everything. >.<

My room is in the basement and it's above the living room too, zig! My sister has ADD and OCD so she runs around at 2AM and then denies it when I tell her to cut it out. D< It's annoying and keeps me from sleeping most the time.
