My roommate refuses to watch animated movies. Seems silly to me. It's just a different format.

it was okay, i wouldn't watch it again or buy it for myself but it made me laugh

UP is a very good movie, actually

But being animated doesn't necessarily mean it's a children's movie.

This really isn't a true kids movie though.
there are lots of parts in it that only adults will get.

I love that movie, makes you feel all warm and fuzzy ^^

My mum cried right the way through it...... it was weird to watch her, she didn't stop! xD

There are certainly scenes that adults will get more than kids. The whole idea of having not done what you wanted with your life is going to effect adults more than kids.
