Which is a superb idea, provided you have someone with that sort of talent. Snipers are a rare breed after all.

Swords or machetes are probably best when on foot, the sound of guns would just attract more zombies.

Hmm but I'm not a fan of letting them get close enough to have to use a sword or machete, just to be safe. I'm thinking going back to your earlier idea with the airsoft gun and the bearings with a machine gun for backup, just in case you get ambushed anyway.

what you do is you get a few people together. each of them has a specific weapon on them at all times. one person has a machine gun, for hordes of enemies, one person has a shot gun, for up close, one person has a sniper rifle, for when we see zombies that are far away, and one person has some sort of explosive, for when that seems to be the best option. everyone would have a machette, a survival knife, and a backpack with random survival stuff in it (everyone gets a first aid kit, water bottles, rations, and a well contained packet of poison, in case of being bitten by a zombie)

and the home-made grenades would not hurt, either.

When zombies are involved, having an extra machine gun on hand is never a bad thing. But going to have to say I like the poison idea, just in case there's no one around to shoot them and make it a quick death. Better suffering than ripping your friends apart.

damn straight. on glee their doing both lady ga-ga, and kiss tonight. and as far as zombies go, if there was a zombie apocalypse, I would do anything and everything in my power to kill all of the zombies possible.

Improvise, like in jazz music. Except with killing the brain-eating undead instead of playing or singing random notes.

Me, I plan to have 8-10 airsoft guns on me at all times. They're light, reload easily and you can carry several extra cartridges. I would find a good safe house and pick off as many zombies as possible

me, I'd be cruising the street in a pick-up truck, holding an uzi out the window and mowing down zombies like roaches

And remember, all the best safe houses have a roof exit and a drop ladder.

I'd just carry a boombox with Michael Jackson's Thriller playing. Dancing zombies!
