Hi there Orange Door Hinge! How are you today? Are you enjoying the event?
|
@GoCloud: I just assumed the hole in the center of the rings just created some portal that sucked the garden through and transform it....I wouldn't have thought it crashed through or....we wouldn't have a game...anymore. XD Uhm...I don't think it opened wider because I would think that they would show it getting bigger and then using it's....freaky, space, ring magic. I'm just going to say Esthar technology plus super magic! :D ....XD
YES. OMG. Odin was the business! It sucked that he had to get iced by Seifer. . .yet it did introduce a brand new face to the group. Gilgamesh...with Half real arms and half...what...cardboard/wooden arms?! idk. Anyways, personally I think that Gilgamesh wasn't much of an improvement from Odin. Yes, you have a lot more swords that can be used...at random. What were they. Zantesuken, Excaliber, Excalipoor, and Masamune? I hated Excalipoor! Goodness. i would just jump through that tv and break that sucky sword! |
@Gocloud: I'm doing good. Went to the beach yesterday, so I'm back at home relaxing now. I'm enjoying the event, very interesting one this is. How about you? Are you likin the event?
|
@ Musicians : Lolz. I know in the game, it showed part of the school being damaged because the rings were coming down and towards the bottom...hence the hanging scene with Rinoa. xD And the oddly placed door scene....xD Anyway, I think that it probably was big enough, they just made the school wider because they never really expected to use the flying mechanism ever again, but it ended up back firing, thus causing them to have to use it and then damage the school because, once again, they weren't expecting to use it til now.
Lolz...Gilgamesh was a downgrade from Odin. Odin always did a one hit kill to all the monsters....even when sometimes you don't want him to come, and other times you do..xD I was rather annoyed that Odin, the almighty powerful being was taken down with one swing of Seifer's sword. Gilgamesh was horrible at damage. He did like no damage whatsoever to the enemy and it annoyed me, but he was rather cool...xD @ Orange : Ooh..the beach...awesome. Yea, I am liking the event...very original compared to the others I've been in...though, all of them are quite original. I liked them all. xD |
Anybody there? I'm back from my nap.
|
@GoCloud: Yeah, that really killed me. Odin...we all know that he was huge as I don't know what... and I mean huge! And the dude let Seifer's dorky but kill him! wtf?! I know I yelled, "WTF kind of mess is that?!" When ol' Odin got sliced. *sigh* Odin could do better. Odin could do BETTER! Yes. Gilgamesh is cool. . . . . His damage sucks butt but he'll keep the cool status.

Oooh, two pages added on since I last was here? Hmmm... *Mai skips to the last page*
So! I assume we're talking about Final Fantasy VIII? *Mai has never played that but wants to* |
AH it happened again! This topic is growing so much while I'm gone! ><
|
@Mai: Yep yep. We were talking about Final Fantasy VIII. It's a good game. You should play it when you get your hands on it.
@ Aerinn: Yep. We have talked up a storm. |
Ahh same I leave to go to sleep and come on at night and there was like almost ten pages added >.<
So what are we talking about exactly..? ---- Ahh no spoilers please >.< I only got to almost the end of the third disk but then I lost my memory card somewhere, I have another one but I don't wanna start over.. |
@Novariko: Final Fantasy, and a bunch of other things that was said by the other posters of this thread. Which...I don't remember at the moment.
|
Ahaha, I can't keep track of anything! ~_~
|
@Novariko: We won't reveal anything. No no nope.
@Aerinn: I'm sorry. Hmmmmm...I guess some of the topics in this thread do kinda go all over the place. |
I wasn't saying it in a bad way, but this always seems to happen to me on forums. I stay away for a little while and when I come back I'm totally lost. ^^"
|
Good lol. All of the people I've met seem to bad mouth VIII but I think its good. Maybe its because of the draw system.. or love stuff..
Don't worry Aerinn that happens to me too. -.- |
@Novariko: Yeah, a lot of people do bad mouth it. The draw system is quite time consuming but it's not that bad. I mean it just makes it all better when you equip your magic to your character's stats. Or when the time comes, upgrade it to higher powered magic.
|
@Musicians_Wish I was a little confused at first but I actually liked it, it was like a new way to do things. And you didn't have MP so that was nice :P
|
@Novariko: Oh, so true. Though when you have it equipped to a stat you'd have to watch how much you use or the battle could turn for the worse. Yet it is a nifty feature to have. Something different and unique.
|
Yeah, I like it when turn-based RPGs do something other than *click* click* *wait*
Although, FFXII was a little boring in that sense, but atleast they tried something else. Like what Shadow Hearts did with the Judgement Ring system that was fun :D |
Ello peeps, hows it hanging?
|
Hello Lady Luck, I'm good I guess :D
How are you? |
Yeah. Final Fantasy XII killed me with that feature. I would get hit about a million times before I could dish out one attack. That really got on my nerves, but most of the battles were real easy though. I don't know anything about Shadow Hearts...I know of Kingdom Hearts, but not Shadow.
|
I'm ok, just enjoying my day off.
|
@Musicians_Wish Yeah, some were really easy, I don't even know if I got a Game Over with an actual boss, just some of the marks. Not to mention the last guy took forever for me..
The Judgement Ring system was like a timing sort of thing.. when you chose what you wanted a thing would pop up and you had to hit X at certain points on the circle thing.. if that makes sense.. It was sort of a dark horror RPG with some humour, but as it went on in the series it got less dark.. more silly. @Lady Luck Infinity thats good to hear :D |
@Novariko: OHHHH...The timing system!!! that's exactly how Legend of Dragoon was set up. That had a timing system. Different sets of attacks for each character with different sets of timing. Some had a rhythm...some didn't. I get what you mean. Shadow Hearts sounds like something I would play.
