I forgot how to draw chibis short and fat. mine started to look more like fat anime people with big eyes somewhere along the lines.

I remember loving CLAMP's older chibi style because they were so chunky. TwT I kind of miss old CLAMP, although I am curious about their new upcoming manga.

What's CLAMP's upcoming work?

It's the Mangettes thing where it's being released simultaneously in Korea, Japan, and the U.S., if I remember right. It's going to be based in Kyoto and more traditional Japanese themes; I know; they had a trip there to do research. It seems they're still sticking to the xxxHolic style for it, though.

Man, I've given up on X. If they finish it before either they or I die, I will pass out from shock. :gonk:

xxxHolic....that sounds familiar. I might have read some of it when I worked at the library a few summers ago. It's been a long time since I held manga in my hands since if I read, I read online.

I prefer reading online too. xD I just don't have any room to store books right now...and they don't have any I can borrow at the library here.

Tori: I know. I'm just concerned that Mokona (not sure how the other artists are fairing, though, tbh) might not be able to work that style anymore since she has hand problems. The new one seems a bit easier from how fast they crank it out, too. 9_9

oh yeah, I got farther in tsubasa then xxxholic. they had it at our school library and I was reading it at the same time as black cat. GAH! I need to get back into reading all those series I never finished after I finished high school!

I have to admit, I wasn't impressed with the ending of Tsubasa Chronicle. ;_;

I admit I gave up on Tsubasa and only read summaries after a certain point. xxxHolic was better for me, but I'm still not big on huge sprawling manga like that. Tsubasa apparently had a lot of plot holes left at the end, too.

Although, I have to say, I wish the artist for Trinity Blood did more stuff. His/her style is super pretty. *_*

*grief stricken* I guess I'll have to just accept their quicky style then. xD

Have you ever seen Magical JxR? I looove that artist's style. I saw her website gallery years ago and I was stunned to find out that she did manhwa. <3

Yeah, I don't see them giving it up anytime soon, unfortunately. All their new stuff is in that style. :gonk:

My mom actually adored Trinity Blood and picked up the manga when it started being released over here. It differs from the anime a bit, if I remember right, but the artwork is so gorgeous. I'm totally jealous. *_*

Tori: I remember I didn't care quite so much for the anime until it got to Istavan (the vampire empire xD)? The manga kept me in the story more, but then, I prefer manga. xD

I don't think I could tell you how many anime series I have watched all the way through. There are so many.

I've gotten through more animes than manga. does it count if I've seen all the way to the end but didn't see the ending? (eureka 7 and samurai choploo)

I literally have to force myself to watch some series to the end...Right now I'm having trouble really getting into K-ON! A lot of people I know really enjoy it, but it must not be my thing.

I do tend to prefer shounen animes anyways. xD

Most of the manga I'm reading are more in line with shounen standards, even if their art is hella prettier. Deadman Wonderland can be so gory, but I love the artwork.
