*debates running to the local convenience store for some Red Bull and soda* :ninja:

@Kat: Well, except for when I'm at work. Or doing errands. Or when I'm spending time with Aryah when she gets home for her vacation. Right? ;)

--EDIT--

@Sarasvati: Meh, I dunno. It's getting to be that time of year where I start drinking more water anyway (considering the shop I work in isn't climate controlled)

Arikana 06-01-2010 04:06 AM

Yeah, berries are usually pretty pricey. D:
But so good, so worth the money. <3

Mmm.. watermelons are awesome!
And it's basically like eating water! XD <3
And they actually cool you down when you're sweaty and hot. :3

Kat Dakuu 06-01-2010 04:08 AM

I  blackberries. I ate some just now and they're so good! the raspberries aren't as lovely. they're a bit more tart.

I want CANTALOPE!!

Sarasvati 06-01-2010 04:08 AM

Dimitri: Yeah, the only time I drink hot coffee is really at night as a kind of dessert, if that makes sense? It's too hot during the summer to willingly drink it all the time. :gonk:

I can't eat a lot of watermelon at once, after a few bites I start to feel really sick. ;_; I really like it, too.

Arikana 06-01-2010 04:10 AM

Ew. Cantaloupe. D:

I prefer honeydew over cantaloupe ANY day. :3

Kat Dakuu 06-01-2010 04:11 AM

sometimes honey dew is better but usually I prefer cantaloupe. its sweeter.

I...I forgot what I was about to say....

I don't like coffee, but I love caramel frappicinos.

Dimitri Bloodbane 06-01-2010 04:11 AM

Well, I'm gonna run to the store real quick. I'll be back in about 15 minutes. Maybe a little longer.

Sarasvati 06-01-2010 04:12 AM

I like pineapple. >8D

Then you like coffee, somewhat. xD They have to add some in! I think. Some of them they don't add coffee into, like the tea frappes.

Arikana 06-01-2010 04:12 AM

Really? I find honeydew SO much sweeter all the time. Cantaloupe is just eh. XP

----------

Oooo, pineapple is good.. but most of the time it leaves an aftertaste that I quite can't stand. :/

nekomorty 06-01-2010 04:14 AM

I'll be right back as well.

ToriKat 06-01-2010 04:14 AM

@Sara: Yeah, the smell...So Faber Castell doesn't have a strong smell, eh? *takes notes* It reminds me of Prismacolors...I can handle Copics, but Prismacolors makes my head spin. @[email protected]

I LOVE PINEAPPLE. After having some freshly sliced ones, I became so obsessed with it. xD The canned stuff doesn't compare!

Kat Dakuu 06-01-2010 04:16 AM

I've only ever had honey dew in fresh fruit mixes and like at hotel breakfast and its often fairly tasteless.

bye dimi

pineapple....fantasic but I can't eat a lot of it.

prismacolors have a smell?

Sarasvati 06-01-2010 04:16 AM

ToriKat: It's the PITT artist pens by Faber Castell. They have some really nice browns in their brush pen selection (and a lot of other colours, too). They don't really have a smell I notice, they're just like a normal pen. Like how the Copic multiliners don't smell, you know?

Ugh, Prismacolors are as bad as Sharpies, for me, maybe worse. :gonk: I don't know why I am perfectly fine with Copics. I even like their smell. o3o;

Fresh pineapple is the best. >3<

Arikana 06-01-2010 04:17 AM

XD Silly TK.
When do canned fruit EVER compare to fresh ones?
The answer: NEVER.

----------

I'll be back later, everyone. I have to go downstairs for cake since it's my dad's birthday. :3

Kat Dakuu 06-01-2010 04:19 AM

ew, canned fruit is horrid!!

I thought prismacolors were like colored pencils...What exactly are copics?

bye ari, have fun!

Sarasvati 06-01-2010 04:20 AM

Exactly!

Kat: They're alcohol-based markers. Very expensive, but they're wonderful to work with. You can layer colour kind of like how you can layer colour in watercolour, if that makes any sense?

Kat Dakuu 06-01-2010 04:21 AM

*blink* I don't think they sell that at the hobby lobby here...

Sarasvati 06-01-2010 04:23 AM

Kat: If you look where the pencils and pens are, they should sell some Copics, most art stores carry sets of Prismacolors too. Like I said, though, they're really expensive, between $5-$6 a marker, depending on the store.

ToriKat 06-01-2010 04:23 AM

The Hobby Lobby where I lived had a whole area of Copics. I mainly bought mine at the UT Co-op. Student discount. <3 Oh how I miss it. xD

Kat Dakuu 06-01-2010 04:24 AM

oh, I've seen the copic markers and they're almost 7 dollars. a total waste of my money!!

Sarasvati 06-01-2010 04:25 AM

I think both Tori and I both started our Copic collections by receiving sets as gifts, no? My friends at the time bought me a really large set, so I had a good base to start with. Yes, they were insane. 9_9

ToriKat 06-01-2010 04:25 AM

They're refillable, unlike the other types. So in the long run, they're nice.

I've been trying to find ShinHan's Twin Touch Brush markers. T^T The regular ones are about a third the price of Copics...but the brush ones have the bruuuush...

Sarasvati 06-01-2010 04:26 AM

Tori: Oo, those sound interesting! If you ever find them, tell me how they work. :O If they layer well with copics, that might be a nice option. >>

Kat Dakuu 06-01-2010 04:27 AM

*rolls through her closet* I apparently have 4 copic markers I got for my birthday a year ago. I forgot that I didn't use them because I couldn't figure out how to make it look good.

ToriKat 06-01-2010 04:28 AM

I got my set of 12 by winning UshiCon's manga contest. 8D I nearly cried when I got mine! One of my proudest moments. *dies*

I've only found the regular ones. They don't have that wretched smell Prismacolors has. xD They seem to get good reviews from the artists who got a hold of them.
