Yeah, I think it'll be fine with the pins, although the shade may clash with the dress. Helps balance the grays of the sword too, in my opinion. :)

Hmm.... I think your avatar looks nice this way in it's simplicity, actually. Although, if you want to add more, small gloves would be nice. If you need something on the top, though. How about a hat/cap? The ones going for half-price this event.
