Hey all. So, I just discovered the event shop :sarcasm:. I'm a bit slow. Going crazy buying stuff now before the event ends...I'm glad it got extended. Did the donation system ever get fixed?

Just thought I would pop in before I pass out. Sorry I haven't been here in awhile. Been busy with things in RL, been really tired and trying to deal with my daughter. Hopefully tomorrow I can come and post some.

Last year, other than food, I bought 2 phone charms and wooden cat ears for my friend cause his cosplay needed them xD

No, she's was underage[though that usually doesn't matter, but she was marked as my responsibility and my godfather was head of security so there would've been SERIOUS trouble] and she's a good girl. And in the 30 minutes that I didn't have my eye on her it happened. But this was the largest con in our area and that hotel connects to two others and there was also some big basketball game going on and apparently some big business thing too. [yeah, that year was INSANE]

Ouu that's a big difference! I am only aware of the 5 dollar discount for pre ordering.o:

I`m personally too shy to talk to the artist because I don`t have anything to talk with them about. I guess you could say I`m a socially awkward person, especially when it come to real life. /:

Yeah, if you can catch it the moment they start prereg it's really cheap.

Well, I'm a social butterfly, I loooove people, and when I'm walking through artist alley if I spot something I like, I talk to the artist, or last year I chilled with the hat maker for like 4 hours and she taught me how to knit :'> it was pretty cool. Or, I have a Haru[Naruto] pin that was specially made, one of a kind, because I was all sad that he didn't have any so he drew me up one AND gave me a discount. And then later it turned out he was a good friend of my godfather's xD

Well, it was prolly like 8/8:30ish at this time of year[actually that con is this weekend xD] so it was more like dusk.
But yeah, it's surprising.

Naw, I don't do that con anymore, that was actually the last year I went.
It's too out of control for me, I stopped doing big cons.
I would prolly do Dragon Con if it wasn't at the same time as my other con though

How would you compare a big con to a smaller one? Which do you find more enjoyable?

I much prefer smaller cons over larger ones.
Smaller cons there's room to walk, and you don't have to wait forever in the game rooms, and you have a much better chance of finding someone awesome to talk to.

I keep starting out talking in pirate and then having to retype everything xD

All that makes perfect sense! But what if you compare the fact that there aren't as many cosplayers to look at?
