That's true.

Here's a link for you: image sharing

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 08:39 PM

Yay! The profile is coming right along. having fun with the past/bio. Guess I just needed to start it to get my momentum going. After I finish it, I will work on an RP post so you'll have something to do, too.

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 08:42 PM

Aw, how considerate of you. /sarcasm

I posted William's information to the other VtM game. Now all I can do about that is wait for a reply. Technically I could write up a reply to Helias' Lament but I remembered that you didn't want me to.

Do you think we should do an outline for Helias' Lament like we did for A Cold Day in Hell?

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 08:44 PM

You know, I hadn't thought about it but that would probably really help me. I wouldn't mind that one bit. Did you have any ideas for where the story should go?

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 08:55 PM

Helias' Lament gives the impression of being a much longer story to tell than A Cold Day in Hell - perhaps an epic tale? If that's the case it'd be better to break it into chapters rather than the individual stories that make up the entirety of the V:tM chronicle. We'd have to have two different outlines for Helias' Lament - one for the overall story and a series of outlines for the chapters that make up the story. Before we can do this we have to make a decision..

Where do we want to take Aaron's story?

(( Helias seems to be taking on more of a less important main character / prominent secondary character like Delauney. ))

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 09:08 PM

I hadn't realised it, but I was thinking of Helias of Delauney type character. i agree on the format of the outlines, although I don't agree that the VTM sotry will necessarily be shorter.

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 09:14 PM

The chronicle won't be short but the individual stories will be. (( We need to come up with a name for the V:tM chronicle. )) Whereas with Helias' Lament it's all one story instead of several stories clumped together.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 09:31 PM

That's true. I suppose, at least for the stories we've come up with for VTM, they are a little siimpler. Well, sort of. I like the way the VTM story is going, though. I think Helias' Lament has a lot of potential, but I'm not sure where we're going to take it.

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 09:36 PM

I know - I'm not really sure on where I want to take Helias' Lament. It was hodge-podge'd when we started it, at best.

Any ideas for a name for the V:tM chronicle?

Also, I was thinking about posting an entry to the Menewshan blog with information about myself but I'm unsure of what or how much I want to include. This isn't DW and I don't want to expose too much.

Honestly, sometimes I still worry about people tracking my internet life and using it against me like they did with the first DW account.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 09:46 PM

Not really. I keep coming up with titles for the individual stories, but nothing that encapsulates it all. It should be something gothic, something vampiric, something that sounds like a V:tM chronicle. No leads, though. I'll be working on it, though. Need to work on the RP post, though. Other threads may suffer a little in the meantime.

Honestly, I'm worried about that too. I would probably avoid posting too much about yourself here. It's not that I want to distance ourself from potential new friends, but I definitely want to distance ourselves from old friends.

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 09:49 PM

Yeah, I decided against the idea. Instead I'm going to post an entry about my regular activities on Menewsha; the threads I hangout at on a regular basis and whatnot.

I don't mind waiting on a reply if it means you're focusing on the RP thread but I can see you sitting over there watching the television.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 09:52 PM

I look forward to the TV being off. Surely you can understand this problem. Or at least you'd better because you're worse about it than me.

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 10:00 PM

:XP

Ah, blessed silence. Y'know, except for Spawn.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 10:27 PM

I'm not sure what his problem has been since last night. he's been all over you. maybe because you want nothing to do with him right now? i don't know.

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 10:30 PM

That's my only guess - it must be the cat in him that senses I don't have it in me to deal with him right now.

I'm going to be playing with the avatar creator while you work on the V:tM post.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 10:53 PM

W00t, posted! That took way too much effort, but I think it'll pick up after this. Here's hoping. XD

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 11:05 PM

Alrighty. I'm done playing with the avatar creator for now. I'm about to go read the latest RP post.

Still need a name for the chronicle.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 11:23 PM

Rewriting most recent post! What exactly do I need to do to leave an opening for William? It seemed pretty open from my perspective. The only other thing I could do is ask directly about the council meeting and invite him back to my place. Is that what I should do?

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 11:24 PM

That's really what it would take to continue on with the story. Maybe mention that Cardea would be at the haven.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 11:25 PM

Alrighty then, editing. Leavign the first paragraph about the same, starting from scratch with the second. Be done in a sec.

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 11:34 PM

I feel like there's something I'm supposed to be doing but we've been really productive today, especially since we made all those phone calls earlier.

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 11:38 PM

I'm guessing we're supposed to be making faster progress on the Rp thread *nod nod*

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 11:40 PM

I'm about to start work on William's post.

I don't have a picture in my head of Cardea. Well, I do but I don't like it - I keep imagining her to resemble the twins from Anne Rice's books and that's not necessarily what I want. It's too close to how I want to look myself.

Any suggestions?

Corporate Zombie 06-02-2010 11:43 PM

I'm not sure. I've always imagine her with curly or wavy hair, but it doesn't necessarily have to be red. In my opinion, that would be too predictable. I don't have anything agaisnt red hair but... your characters' hair is always red. <_<

Scribbled Lore 06-02-2010 11:55 PM

I know! I'm just.. really vain about my hair. Crowning glory and all, y'know? I think I'm going to look for a picture of a woman with brown hair, curly or wavy. Preferably wavy.

Posted in the RP thread.

I wish we could attract more people to our threads. How do we drive off people?
