Touche M00f. At least the rest of the planet will recover fairly well. We might not fair so well.

Why Diefenbaker bury it if it was so good?

I've always been a fan of the government, but that's mostly just because I really want to be a politician. D:

Thanks. I'll need it. It's hard to be successful as a politician. =P
I'm mad that I'll need to learn French if I want to go federal though. It'll be difficult to learn another language.

@Bella
He's definitely not trying to be a US politician. Him knowing French could very well sink his candidacy here.

No, I'm Canadian. =P
I don't see Americans needing to know French any time soon.

@Hermes
Sometimes our politics is funny, but usually it's in a depressing sense.

@Bella
I don't think carrying one part of one city (even if it is a major city) is going to help win an entire state or nation.

Bella, I'll probably end up being a New Democrat. I'm absurdly left, but I have hope because the NDP has starting making a resurgence in my area lately, despite it being a fucking Conservative stronghold.

I get a kick out of American politics in an almost Schadenfreude kind of way. It's all just so... odd. Even like, the system itself is almost backward.

I'm Albertan.
But I'm angry about Afghanistan. The more I learn about that war, the more I support it. It's a good cause, and I think it's doing good, but they handled it really badly.

The problem with that war is that Afghanistan has nothing for them to build off. They can't go fix stuff, they have to build it from scratch.
