I have a hate/love relationship with it. I really want it to die, but not. I like how I can afford everything on mene... but damn, for some reason the conversation on here is incredibly dull. The only time it amuses me is when I'm talking to someone I already know.

I wouldn't know how the conversation compares. I never spoke to anyone on Gaia. I used the forums for bumping only.

On an unrelated note, ever read the Holder's series?

I think it's mostly because there's no posting rules. It gives more freedom and you don't have to be all conscious about what you're saying/doing. Which also means people are more unruly. I guess that's more interesting. Mene is full of nazis who jump you if you accidentally double post. It's kind of a kill-joy.

Try Enrya then? They're more laid back about that type of thing. Anyway, Mene fixed it so it's hard to double post by accident nowadays. Your post just becomes an edit. I thought there were posting rules on Gaia. Guess I missed out...
But yeah, I know what you mean. Though really, I'm more annoyed that the rules on having a mule are so strict.

Nah, there's probably less people on there. I used to love how most of mene was composed of mature, laid-back people... but then, it got so boring. It's like talking with senior citizens. :drool: Gaia has posting rules, but they're incredibly lax. They only condemn the extremes. One of the things I liked about Gaia was being able to hoard mules. I understand the mule rules on mene for gold abusing and all, but still, it's dull.

The mule rule bugs me the most, not because I want to hoard gold, but because if I want to pretend to be seven different people I think I outta be allowed. >_>

They should implement it where you can make additional mules above the two, but they disable gold earning on the excess.
