Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 04:45 PM

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 04:50 PM

yep, because that's my job!

xuvrette 03-20-2013 04:55 PM

wait... you mean your job is to make sure I don't mess up? O_O

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 04:57 PM

no, it's my job to make a mess of things. it's more fun that way.

chellybean1985 03-20-2013 04:59 PM

Lol! I am back as well for a little bit any ways I will be coming and going for a bit as I have some things that I will be doing and I will be going to my bible study in a few hours.

xuvrette 03-20-2013 05:04 PM

You... mess things?? *suspicious*

ooo... bible study.

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:15 PM

kat's are an agent of chaos.

I'm in class right now.

chellybean1985 03-20-2013 05:16 PM

Ah what class are you in?

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:18 PM

Relgion and Image. I'm always online during the whole of it because there's nothing to learn.

xuvrette 03-20-2013 05:21 PM

... Image? What does it means? in context of religion?

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:23 PM

religious images....like paintings and sculpture. image has always been a part of religion.

xuvrette 03-20-2013 05:26 PM

Oh, that. I see...
So you study about how artists depict religious figures?
Davinci, Bernini? XD

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:29 PM

not so much. we did three or so weeks on defining art, then doing a little crash course in art history. then we spent about four weeks reading a three page short story by Kafka and analyzing all the apparent biblical references in it. Now we're learning about Buddhism for the second week and finally starting to talk abut images like mandalas.

chellybean1985 03-20-2013 05:30 PM

I agree art and religion have always seemed to go hand in hand I would think that it would be interesting to learn about the difffernt art pieces of differnt religions.

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:32 PM

we haven't learned anything yet.

xuvrette 03-20-2013 05:37 PM

oh lol. XD History. Why must all subjects seemed to have history attached to it? DX

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:39 PM

I've already taken religion classes and three semesters of art history so I don't want to be in this class. I don't want or need to know this stuff and the stuff I do, I already know. it's the most boring class I have this semester.

xuvrette 03-20-2013 05:43 PM

huh? So then why you are not exempted from it?

chellybean1985 03-20-2013 05:44 PM

Well I do find history very interesting to find out what we have done in our past so that we can figure out what we have done and has worked so that we don't try to do something that we have already done before and know doesn't work.

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:46 PM

because it's not the same credit and I took the previous religion class at a different school.

I like history too, but only on subjects I enjoy and if I'm not tested on dates later.

xuvrette 03-20-2013 05:50 PM

I. dislike. history.
x.x
But it really depends on the presentation. Currently the way the history textbooks layout are very boring.

Kat Dakuu 03-20-2013 05:54 PM

I don't read history textbooks. I did my best not to read them in school. historical fiction and non-fiction is best.
