Oh my gosh! [rofl] That almost happened when I was going to a uni open day down in Dundee. You stick to the motorway for most of the journey but the sat nav was determined to take us through every little village on the way ha.

When we were in Portugal my dad was on the right road but driving in the wrong direction so we nearly ended up in Spain.

GPSs seem like they aren't as reliable as they should be.
kat: that sounds scary. x.x my mom flips the hell out when we get lost. she scares me more than being lost does xD I have better diraction than her, so I tend to help out now if we go a wrong turn |
We ended up pulling into a petrol station and asking for directions in terrible phrase book Portuguese.

My mum's the same ha. We had to get a police escort out of Glasgow once because my mum got lost on the motorway when we were coming back from Blackpool. We were sitting on the hard shoulder and my mum was total panicking when the police came to check on us. They said we needed to do a u-turn to get back to the junction we needed to and then my mum was like "Oh I didn't know you could do a u-turn on the motorway" and the police man near fainted ha. So we got taken back to the bridge by them xD
