I need to post here but I'm way preoccupied. I'm trying to make Halloween decorations but I'm not feeling super creative. I don't want to buy anything. I'm thinking about making a paper mâché jack-o-lantern but I've never worked with that stuff before. I also have a bunch of left over construction paper from Christmas but I don't have any ideas what to do with it. [headdesk] |

I remember wayyy back when I was on a different site, I had a thing where I did free art for people. I didn't have any art programs on my computer so I did the drawings in my sketchbook and then scanned them. I was like 12 and one or two people said I'm not a real artist unless I do the drawings on the computer. It made me really upset, I actually shut down the whole thing. [no]

I was on Reddit the other day just trying to make this poor kid feel better because people were putting him down for the type of sketchbook he was using. His wasn't "good quality". I just think they're pretty much all the same. [dunno] |

It gets easier with time and practice. I compare my items now with my originals *shivers*
My originally items mostly copied the shading off other items...no lies >.> Now I shade my own items and they don't look bad \ o / |

Do you have a process when you design something? Like do you sketch things out first or do you just wing it? [:O] |
