I only have two house plants currently. And orchid and an African violet. I'm surprised the violet is still alive. I've killed everyone I've ever tried growing.

I wanted to grow an orchid, it was growing fine, lovely, and when it as done... another fllower just never grew back. For years and years and years.

Well depending on what type of orchid, orchids go through a dormant period after flowering. Some could be as short as a year or two others may not flower again for years and years. If it doesn't flower doesn't mean it's dead. Just resting. The orchid plant family is the biggest family of plants in the world.

I don't know, I took care of it forever, but the roots got all weird, and it wouldn't grow flowers and then I gave up.

I saw they make itty bitty mini pink flamingos so I was thinking about getting one of those and a plant to put them on I just haven't gotten around to it. >.<
